Received a call today from Gregory Adams & Associates by a woman named Ms. Cooper saying my ss# had been red-flagged and I need to contact them before they make the decision.  The name on my ID caller was

Got to: www.usa.gov  and type pay day loan scams into the search engine. The FBI is very interested in these butt plugs.  There is a wealth of information on how to protect yourself from these thieves. Call you bank, the 3 credit bureaus and your employer to alert them about this scam.

Got a call from this group of idiots. They make you think that they are a law firm. Not so. These scammers
used to pretend to be "Investigators" at one time. They led you to believe that they were either the police or from a city, county or state agency. After threatening people, one idiot- Mr. Zimmerman- would tell you he was waiting in a squad car for you call him back. Call your State Attorney General. Contact the FTC. The FBI
might be interested as well. They are known scam artists who illegally obtained pay day loan information on people. Much of the information they obtained is over 7 years old. Contact an Attorney. If they threaten you, call the police.

Call your state attorney general office. I called mine and they said that these a$$holes have fraudulently gotten
information on people. They insinuate that they are an attorney's office. They are a scam. Do not give any information. Call your state attorney's office a call. Report them to the FTC. Also contact your own attorney.

Received a taped message from this number saying they are an attorney and the have a red flag notice regarding "your" ssn.
I did not press 1 to talk with a person.

just got a call from them regarding a red flag and my ssn.

I have received a message threating me if idon'tcall back legal  actions was going to be taken aganist me.

Got a call from this # today with an older woman stating this is the third voicemail she has left. Ive never received a phone Call from them before. sounds like a high pressure collection agency.

Today I called this number back and spoke to a man for less than 15 seconds. I told him to stop calling my business and leaving messages and asked who they were trying to reach...then he abruptly hung up on me. How do I get these people to STOP calling?????

I get the same call too. So far, I have the names David Zimmerman, Mr. Tyson, and a Rebecca Cooper with Gregory Adams & Associates...from the following numbers...(786) 245-8312, (888) 402-0790, and (954) 345-4741. They all say the same thing, that my name (which they dont state) is attached to a case (which they dont state what case) and that decisions will be made on my behalf. I did some researching and they all have several things in common, the calls are from Florida, and they basically say the same thing...which is, "my name is attached to a case and if I dont respond, decisions will be made on my behalf." According to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, we all as consumers have a right to privacy. Even if we owe a debt, a collector owes us fair treatment and respect for our privacy. When a collector calls, ask for the name of the caller, the collection agency, the criditor, and the address and fax number for sending correspondence. Also, ask about the amount the collector claims you owe. You can tell the caller that you want all future contact in writing rather than by phone. Repeat of an old message that my account has been red flagged and I need to contact them to get it taken care of or they will make a decision for me. Been getting these calls at least three times a day for several months. First time from this number though.

They call with an automated message that there is a case pending against me and want me to call
back or a decision will be made for me.
I get the call every Tuesday.
