Just had a call from a company claiming to be from 'pcsupportcaretoday.com'. Told me i had a problem windows!! I told that i had a MAC to see if it had an effect on him, and it didn't. I was asked to logon to the above mentioned website. Instead i googled it and ended up here.

I then told him that i believed him to be a scam artist and he hung up.

The number that called me was with held!!

Or maybe people can download the free program Spybot, which will remove malware and spyware for no cost. They can also use CCleaner which will also help make there system run smoother and faster. People do not need to contract you to do a job they can do themselves.

For people who want protection, use Spybot and CCleaner (both are free and safe programs you can download off the net.

You are wasting your money, they are doing nothing, but it is your money, so if you have nothing better to spend it on then I hope you are happy. By the way, I can do nothing for half the price they are charging

I had the same at 1300 hrs on 23/9/2010 when I was online, offered me 1 year deal for £124.95  !

after i got a call from pcsupportcaretoday.com, they tried to show me some errors in my pc.
i thought they are good but when i visited there facebook page, i saw only one person likes their fb page.
and he is from Calcutta, India. his name is Shawn Fraser , he is a f**king muslim too!
i immediately canceled the transaction. it must be a scam running from India.

what type of forum is this.....i can't take anyone spoiling anyone's name. This PC Support Care is really helpful and they are good at what they do.

Purporting to be Microsoft support, to correct error messages sent to Microsoft. Indian voice on phoen for over 1 hour having access to your computer. Watch out for this

This number rang me about paying to fix errors, it is a scam, please watch this company. They do nothing and are out there to scam you

Yes, they've just tried to do a hardsell on me.  Way too pushy.  It didn't feel right for Microsoft.

PC SUPPORT CARE , has actually helped me. I was very weary when they called, but once they started the work , it was very professional. I subscribed for a 2 year warranty in August, till now i am getting services done monthly.

kristy, I totally agree with you, they are a professional bunch but some of the telemarketeers are a bit pushy. But at the end of the day i got the help that was required

I disagree, they are good at the work and they are genuine.
I first thought that it was a scam, but after doing some research, I found out that they are based in US and they follow a legitimate protocol
