Called work number but did not leave message.

Got her vm this morning.  surprised that she has been doing the same thing over 2 years.  Glad I googled her number before I called back which I won't do now.

Just got a call from this number.  It sounded more like "Mary Woodwork".  All it said was to call me back.  There was no explaining who she was or why she called.  I always make it a habit to look up numbers of people that do this.  100% of the time I get stories like all of you have been giving.

I got the same call today at work from Mary..she sounded like she knew me...glad I googled her phone.

Got a call on voicemail at work from "Mariam Winnerer".  Either it's my poor hearing, or the woman has changed her alias.  Southern accent.

"Hello, Roderick!  This is Mariam Winnerer.  When you get a chance, please give me a call back at xxx.xxx.xxxx"

No company name given.  Ignore.

Yup, got my share of call this morning. I wonder how come this is continuing for so long...

Got a message from Miriam Waddell. Same m.o. as the rest. She called and asked for a reply but did not identify her company or her purpose in calling.

I got a call from Miriam today, no details, left 786-923-5936 and "please call me."  Glad I checked this site. Based on these messages, I don't think I'll bother.

Yeah, Miriam has been attack dialing lots of people at my company.  She's trying to encourage options trading or gain inside information on our company stock, neither of which are activities that we are allowed to participate in.

She's still at it. I just got a call with the same offer to pay out a guaranteed 15%-20% "dividend" on the company shares that I hold.

I just got a VM from her also.   I agree its weird she doesn't say what her purpose is or what company's she's from..she only left her name and the same 786 number.

Nothing to add except she is still at it. Did not call back but googled the number since she left two seperate VM's.

Got a voicemail at work in California from Miriam Waddel, call back at the above number, with no details. Glad I searched first.

Same here, no details.  I looked in my corporate directory and I didn't find her.
Then I thought to look up her name on google (to find out how to spell it) and found this site, with the same number.
I remember looking up another number and finding this site before, nice.

Same here. Miriam called my work number & left a voicemail.  She left no details about who she was or why she was calling.  I googled the number before calling her back, I'm glad I did!

Got the same thing.  Left a message on my work voicemail twice.  Never said what she wanted.  Now I understand why.

Got a similar call from the same woman @ work too.  Her accent or voice made it hard to hear the last few numbers.  Ignore it.

Miriam Waddell left message on my voicemail at work. I did not call her back. I was concerned about this call since I am a new employee and did not expect any calls from anyone on my first day of work.

She sure had a nice southern accent.

Miriam called my work phone and left a message to call her back on the subject number. The fact that she did not indicate why she was calling or what company she worked for made me suspicious. I would have never called her back but for kicks I decided to google the number which brought me to this site.

"Miriam Wadell" called my work phone offering a way to lock in the price on my company stock and maybe even use a covered call strategy to make money on my company stock.  It sounded like she was from some company like "Bishop Pilgar", but I didn't catch the correct name of the firm or broker she represented.  There was an attempt by her to give legitimacy, as if this was approved for my company's stock purchase or incentive options plan.

Nothing could be further from the truth.  We have a strict policy that we cannot buy or sell any options on the company stock.  It is grounds for dismissal.  I informed her of this, which I also did previously about 3-4 months ago.  I guess she'd forgotten.

They called work phone and I did not answer due to the fact I could not identify the number on caller ID.

Voicemail message left on my work phone by a 'Myriam Wadel' (sp?) requesting me to call back.
