Please ask Mashreq Bank to stop this harassment.

I agree that they don't have a good service.. They will call you but they will not answer they just hang up! they have a poor service! If you complain they will not give you any feedback.

It keeps calling me any time of the day and night.

yeah,for some reasons u r right,but hell they're calling two weeks before your due date of payment,..am a credit card user but am not a delinquent payer,reminding you for such an obligation is ok,but isn't it that if you're a borrower i guess they also have that trust in you that you're going to pay on respective dates..it's annoying,..that's no fun..

Mashreq banks are little better than standard charter or Dubai Islamic bank. The staffs they are like animals untrained and un professional. Blood thirsty  Vampires.
No manners hopelessly inhuman. All they can talk is Legal issues only.

They can do nothing just have enough proof of your problems and you can fight them any where.
So guys dont worry about them.
People do have problems thats why they are humans, so its very naturals. As long as you are planning to chaet anybody your conscince is clear.

Mashreq collection agents are not good advicers.  They are rude and brainless. They even adviced me to rob a bank just to be able to pay my card!.

Dear Mashreq Collections,

Please can you check the phone lines of your international / outsourced call centres,  +8000 number (and provide an intensive training to your collections agents on how to properly handle customer service calls)  - I think these are just some of the reasons why people who complain here do not get any responses from your agents when they return their calls.

yeah, after reading all these comments before me, i confirmed that the call from mashreq bank becuase i have due of payments now, Are they checking that whether we answer the call or not, if yes, this is the worst planning of management.

These bloody Mashreq bank people are worst in UAE, also some AbuDhabi base bank use same bad attitude. Any any one who call from this no shows that he is a local guy, but believe all are egyption and syrians. dont worry about call. these banks are selfish.

I received a call from the same number 800-017-8990 just now (24 Aug. 2009 @ 2:33 pm/Dubai Time) and I happen to answer the call but no one is on the other end.
Could it be from one of the many hackers who wants to victimize us?

It is confirmed. That number is from mashreq collections.

I received the call this morning, but there was no answer on the other end. Then in the afternoon, i received a call from the same number, and it was from the collections department of mashreq.

I have made a payment 8 days ago, but still I received the call. They told me that their system is not updated but they will make a note on their system and
they asked the reference number of the payment.  And that was it.

It was a legit call from mashreq.

I just got call fm this number today but no one at the other end!

this number keeps on callin me..i dont even know why???

i also received call from the same no. but such a bull s**t this called every time hunged up call..
