I got a call from them saying that I won a cruise to the Bahamas for 2 days and 2 nights. And for an extra $538 I could gt an extended stay in Ft. Lauderdale and Orlando with a car rental/Universal tickets. I accepted only the cruise and gave them my visa number for the port fees. After I hung up it didn't feel right so I canceled my card. Luckily nothing was charged yet and hopefully nothing will be.

1st of all - thanks for this website.  I received a call from 718-228-1764 the other night & they were asking for my wifes name.  I said she wasnt home & could I take a mssg?  they said no & they would try back again.  I typed the # into Google & voila!  Look at your site!  I was now ready for the next call.  Today the phone just rang w/ that same # & I thought:  How u gonna f*** w/ the KING of PRANK CALLS BI***?  So I answered in a girly type voice.  The guy named Guiseppe asked if I had recently gone to a festival in my city. (Victoria BC)  I said yeah i went down to eat ice-cream all day & to hold on cause Linda had the fork near the toaster!  I had to ask him to hold on while i yelled at Linda for being so close to the toaster.  Then i got back on the phone & he told me that i had won a trip to Bahamas & i said yaaaaaaaay - i always wanted to go there.  He asked if i filled out a ballot, but i said no - it must have been my friend Linda that filled out the ballot for me in my name.  He asked if i was 18, but i said that no im only 17 & that i had fake id because Linda & i were drinking all day at the festival & that then she ate ice cream & pizza & puked in the front seat of my car.... He asked if i had a credit card & i said yeah - my dad got me a $50 one from money mart & i use it to buy ice cream & pizza & couldnt i just give them that card #??? He said no.  I said that i would be turning 18 next year. This call seemed to really f*** up a d****ead named guiseppe.  Take er ease guissepe - go the f****n bakery and get me a f****n espress.  Bi***.  How did he think he was gonna f*** with the KING?

I just got called, but said that my credit card was at home, so that I could have some time to think about it.
I entered a draw at the Chinese New Year event in Vancouver.
This is the exact number that they said to call.
Yikes!
I almost did it.
Thanks,

THIS IS A SCAM!!! Getting a hold of the company after they process your credit card isnt easy. do it the same day. when on phone sounds like hang up on you but its not and make sure to let them know to reverse charges, they try to get u to keep but i pushed and she cancelled it. speaking with them make sure to get a name, cancel confirmation number is also important. they promise to cancel charges within 5-10 days lets see what happens.

I received a letter from this company called Imperial Cruise Lines stating that I have to call within 72 hours before it expires. I never entered any contest. I work internationally and I only was in the US for 3 weeks around Christmas. I called the number and they told me that I won the cruise to the Bahamas, Ft. Lauderdale, Las Vegas, Mexico... I gave them my credit card information and luckily it didn't work because they just couldn't spell my International address right. But then he called the next day and said he kept trying to charge my credit card over night and that it finally worked. I was shocked that he still tried to charge it even though I didn't even want that anymore. Now I cancelled my credit card and my credit card company told me that the money was pending, but they ensured me that the company could not take it anymore... We will see...
They also gave us the number 1 800 203 9783, their service line.

4days 3 nights orlando fl, 2 day crusie to bahamas, 3nights fort lauderdale, las vegas, so on and so forth.  I don't know if it was a scam yet. Probably is. That is my luck.  I am not normally that stupid. I filled out a form at the RV show in Syracuse. They told me that and I remember that.  If so many people are being scammed what is our great fed govt doing?
Also, I may be wrong, but I was under the assumption that there is a federal law that gives you 3 business days to cancel any large purchase. I believe I was told that several years ago.  I called my credit card company and they said I have to wait for a few business days to complain????

Wife got scammed today for $598.  Found out that her girlfriend also got the call that she won also.

"Lightning doesn't strike twice"....I said to self.

I demanded a refund confermation cancellation number......

"we can only give you 50% back Sir...."

A few minutes later.....

"we can give you 80% back Sir...."

A few more minutes (and politely telling the CSR that she's not following what i'm saying....

"Sir, in 7-10 days, $598 will be refunded to you.  Your refund confermation cancellation number is ER4021121XXX".

Take a hint women AND men:  There is a sucker born every minute, and nothing in life is ever free.  Oh, and if its too good to be true IT PROBABLY IS.

I filled in a form at The Beer fest in Victoria, BC to win a trip. A guy phoned saying that I had won a cruise to Bahamas, bla, bla, bla...
He explained to me that I just needed to pay $299 and I would get a trip that was worrth $2995. It sounded really good but I didn't like his tone of voice, he was quite rude and impolite, harassing me for my credit card number to register me in the system. I asked for the phone number to be able to reach them, it was (800) 203-9783 while I was speaking to him I googled this phone number. Fourtunately, I got this website.
Thanks guys!!!

I received a phone call which was a private call. A lady said I was qualified for a trip to the Bahamas which I had entered a draw at a festival a few weeks ago. I wasn't thinking at the moment and thought this was legit. She told me it was a trip for two and cost $299 per person and total comes to $598. It was for 8 days and 4 days cruise starting in Florida to Orlando... bla bla bla.... So, I went through with it. She put me through another person to obtain a confirmation number (DS###########). She also gave me other service numbers (407-841-6450 and 305-599-2200). She said I had to call 1-800-203-9783 60 days before going on the trip. Anyway, I couldn't check the number online during that time. I had to go for a short road trip with friends. It was a bad day. Later, I lost my wallet with some cash and my credit card in it. Luckily I had my drivers license in my pocket. When I got home 6 hours later, I called to report that I lost my credit card. And later, I went to check this number 1-800-203-9783 on the Internet and here I am. The $598 had been processed.
So, never give out credit card number for free stuff especially if you had to pay in advance. I will go to the bank and try to get my money back next day. I hope this will help everyone out there.

i received a call from that same number today. I entered a draw at a motorcycle show and within a couple days they called and said I had won a trip. They told me it was $299 per person but I told them i didnt have enough room on my credit card, so they kept lowering the price until I ended up giving them $75. I called my girlfriend and told her all about it , and though she was excited, she was still a little hesitant , because i had to put money down.So we went home and looked up the motorcycle show info to see what the vendors name was.It didn't appear on there, so she typed in the phone number online, and it brought us here.Thankfully they didn't get anymore money out of me, but im still very pissed!!!
Thank God theres a site like this that helps people, because if there wasn't, a lot of people may have lost a lot more money.

P.S the guy's name was Carlos Malbrew

I filed a form at The Beer and Cocktail fest in Toronto on 16 May 2008 to win a trip. Later on 19 May 2008 a woman Samantha called to my phone saying that i was qualified for a cruise to Bahamas, bla, bla, bla... Since i am always suspicious about such calls i said that i will read all these cruise features when i receive it by mail in 2 weeks (that what she promised). Then she quickly asked for my credit number :-) to register me in the system. Haha. I asked for phone number i can reach them, she gave me 1 (800) 203-9783 and i hang up on her. My caller ID showed that she called from 1(718) 228-1764. Using Google i found this site. And now i know for 100% it was fraud.

PS Few minutes later my wife received same call from (718)228-0774

I got a call from 718-228-0774 saying I won a 7 day cruise in the Bahamas and around Florida. My name had been drawn from a Beer festival I went to at Hunter Mountain in NY. At first I was excited of course, but throughout the phone call I was skeptical. I never win anything, so I knew there had to be some catch. I listened to the woman with all her dazzling information, and then came the catch. I would get a package worth 2500 bucks, but I had to put down a payment of $299 EACH for two people on my credit card. Instantly a red flag went up. I asked if they could call me later, they said no. Said this was the only time to 'seal the deal.' After pushing me and pushing me I finally said I didn't have the money on my credit card and they would need to call me back next week. I gave them my number and I asked for their website and a customer service number. They gave me www.carnival.com and their 1-800-203-9783 number which I see several others recieved. Then I searched both the number she called me from and the customer service number on the internet, and found several sites just like this. I knew this was too good to be true. Never trust people who give you free stuff but want your credit card. Now I just cant wait for them to call me back and for me to have the opportunity to yell at them!

I got a call today, that I won a trip and it sounded really good. They told me that i had entered a draw at our local trade show and my name had been drawn.I was getting exicted and they explained to me that I just needed to pay $299 and I would get a trip that was worrth $2995 bla bla bla....it sounded really good. Then the guy said that we will get the tickets in the mail but you have to pay the $299 right away before they send it. Lucky I was working and I didnt have any cards on me so I told him that I would call him back. He gave me his name which was Ilya, and the number 1-800-203-9783. When I got home I felt I should check it out and i searched the company name that he gave me (DS office) and found nothing. Then I decided to search the number that came up on my phone, which was not the 1800 number it was 718-228-1762 that is a number from NY I soon figured out with the help of the internet. When I came upon this site I figured that I almost got scamed and I am glad that I found this site. I hope that this information will help someone else!!

I entered a contest to win a free vactation at an autoshow earlier last week, and they called me back today saying that I have won.
The catch is that you have to pay a registration fee of $199 per person (charging you on account of 2 people, so $598 all together).
Since it was from the autoshow, I thought it would be legit, especially considering that they said it is fully refundable.
They gave me a confirmation number, and said that a package is going come in the mail for further information. I called my friends excited about the news, but then realizing that they all got the exact same call.
I cancelled my credit card an hour later explaining to them about the situation, but it was too late because the transaction has already been processed, and they said I had to dispute it with the company.
I called the customer service number 1-800-203-9783 twice.
The first time, they asked for my phone number and put me on hold, and never came back. Second time, finally talked to a representative and asked them about their refund policy. The woman said a specialist has to talk to me, and will call me within the next half an hour and was ready to hang up on me without asking for my name, or where to contact me.In the end of it all, of course nobody called back.

After all this suspecion, checked online and found many complaints of the same situation.

ITS A FRAUD!!!
PLEASE, DONT PICK UP THIS CALL!!!!
