I am sick of these calls!!!

@Lil...they are required to state the mini miranda, which states "this is an attempt to collect a debt."  Blame the lawmakers who made it a law....the agency can get fined if the mini miranda is NOT stated on every message left.  Hope this helps...

They have called 7 times in the last 3 days, never left any message.

I get a call from this number at least once a day and when I answer there is no one on the other end. After a few seconds I hear the line disconnect.  This is very annoying!

800-204-5220 called my house and asked for my son by first name only - I said there was nobody living there by that name.  Then they said they needed "health information" on this person, did I know anyone by the name of _______ ________; they gave me a first and last name!   I said no.   I left for work and my cell phone rang with the same number calling. I did not answer it.  If it is a debt collector, are they not supposed to say that the call is being made in trying to collect a debt?  They are using sneaky and I am sure illegal methods to obtain information.

I had Direct TV for awhile. Then canceled them due to loss income as a result of health issues that needed to be dealt with at that time and the associated bills.  I sent back the equipment as required and told Direct TV I would make the payment of 89 dollar in a few months.  Before I knew it, I was getting calls from a Representative of Direct TV claiming I owe the Direct TV $ 5,000 for loss equipment and over due charges and service for Direct TV.  Told them the equipment  was turned in and I only owe the 89 dollars.  I have an old bill, will pay the last actually monies owed next month. Beyond that, I don't answer the phone anymore with Direct TV or their Representatives.

keeps calling and won't stop.  new number for me and guess the old owner had issues. asked to stop calling. they refused. made complaint.

This is Nationwide Credit Inc calling looking for someone that I don't even know.

I keep getting phone calls from these people at all hours of the day and night.  I did have Directv, but, cancelled the service.  They then took over $500.00 out of my checking account, saying it was to cover the last bill, and the early termination of service.  The following week, they took another $280.00 from my account.  I contacted my bank, canceled my debit card and got a new one.  There's no way possible that I owe them anymore money, they got their receivers back, all their stuff.  They can go blow.

When I call the 800# back (after 6 calls from a 503 area code) this guy with a thick accent...overseas perhaps...asked for my husband. When I told him we were divorced, he wanted to know if I had his phone #. I told him before I give him any info he needed to tell me what this is about. He said "postal business". He never said he was calling on behalf of Direct TV. Unfortunately we did have Direct TV and when we told them goodbye they started saying we needed to send them our DVR. We bought the DVR at Circuit City...they can pay me what I paid for the DVR before I send it back to them. Someone needs to shut Direct TV down...their business practices seem a bit illegal.

Caller ID showed calls from: 503 928 5486, 5460, & 5466 but message said to call 800 204 5220.

I received a call from this number.  I didn't answer and they left a message indicating I should return the call to this number.  The man had a slight accent but undertandable.  He mentioned it was a business call and he had to make an important decision.  I did not return the call.

Message contains private information.  (gives 3 seconds to be able to be listen to privately)  This is Mary Jo a debt collector from Nationwide Credit.  This is an attempt to collect a debt and any information obtained will be used for that purpose.  Please contact me at 800-204-5220.

Calls place of employment.

Female voice (perfect english). Said the call was not a solicitation. The message was left on my answering machine. It's a scam.

I received a call from this number. I didn't answer and they left a message said it was an important call and to return call. Lady had an accent. I did call back and they said it was Nationwide Credit on behalf of Direct Tv which I haven't had for like 3 years...Was not happy with this service, they don't know what they are talking about and they were claiming I owed them...

The people who call me if i answer will hang up on me.... its getting to the point they call me 8 times in one day. I want it to stop

this number calls my house constantly... like 10-20 or more times a day, THIS IS RIDICULOUS!!!

Came up private caller in ID, message said to call 800-204-5220 looking for location information.

calls my number 2-3 time a day and when I answer hangs up. never leaves a voice mail. obviously a robocall.

Calls are becoming riduculous. They won't answer when I pick up the call, it just goes dead and they won't leave messages, but they continue to call... everyday, starting at around 7am...
No messages are ever left!!!!

I get dozens upon dozens of robocalls every week on my cell phone with spoofed phone #'s that look to be someone calling from my area--maybe made to look like it's a friend or relative??? They are calling looking for the previous owner of my cellphone & I believe they are debt collectors for Direct TV, from what I've researched.

The fact that the # is fake on the caller ID and that you can never speak to someone live, is insane. Each time they call, I have to check my voicemail, which costs me minutes I should be able to be reimbursed for.

Arline Hayez call once a week saying that this is not a soliticiation call, that please call the 800-204-5220 to discuss your account.  They call to my office. It is a pain, since it is a recording even if I don't pick up, it would leave a message.

These people keep calling me and asking for someone with my same first name...

Someone called looking for a person that may have had my current home number in the past.  They have been told numerous times that the person who they are asking to speak to no longer has the number.  If someone calls my number with this number again they will be reported to the Better Business Bureau.

This is Nation wide Credit For Direct TV so they can call you long  after you have paid Direct Tv.  They have other numbers Also.
