I got a call on my cell phone from this number today. It was a pre recorded message that says I won 200 off my ATT phone bill. It instructed me to go to attrocks.com and there is no website. Seems like a scam.

I don't even have Verizon and never have and i got this call at 8:50 am on a holiday....tried to call back and get a live person to harass but no luck, just robots. screw Verizon

They called at 8:00am and again at 8:05am.......no name appeared............

This number just called my husband's cell phone which has nothing to do with any thing Verizon...the real verizon is 888 numbers and these people need to be reported....

I just spoke to my Verizon rep and she said that this number is a scam!  They act like the real Verizon and try to get your information so that they can steal from you!  They called and said I was late on my bill.  I'm set up for auto-pay, so I knew this wasn't right.  I told them I was on the other line and had to call them back.  I called the REAL Verizon, which is an 888 number, NOT an 800 number, and was told about the scam.  DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY INFORMATION!!!

aparantly this is verizon payment dept....left no message.......yes we are late and  I told them cannot pay onthe internet lab top   will not work with us....al though said we had until the 10th   cut us off on the ist.....so cannot pay in a contract and theyb just needt to send us a bill....haven't used the internet since Jan 31st  and yet again they said we could have it till the tenth.....no one on line when phone was picked up.

I took the call and couldn't hear anybody on the other side of the line.

I received a phone call from this number, but didn't answer because I didn't recognize the number. When I called it back, it was Verizon. I do not know why they would be calling me when I don't even use Verizon for any reason.

Just got the automated verizon fios reminder call one week before the due that.  I guess they know they have overcharge me again and that I am going to dispute my bill yet again before my due date one week away.

It's Verizon's "Junk Phone-Call Machine" reminding me to pay the FiOS bill or suffer their awesome legal powers...(yawn!)  I told em to shove it and that if they don't replace this damned backup battery I'll have their sorry a***s in Court for breech of contract. (REMEMBER: If they fail to provide the FCC mandated 911 dialing when the power is off, they're in violation!)

I have disputed a $95.00 charge for installation/repair (depends on who you talk with), for an installation of the "3" , computer, TV, phone, done recently.  Two people have said its an error and they were submitting for credit for me, and that if I didnt hear back, I would see the  credit on next bill.  Well, needless to say, I received the bill and no credit,just a cut off date if I didnt pay the bill that includes the $95.00.  Naive, as I am, this 80 year old Senior called billing and if I wrote everything that was said to me you wouldnt believe it...the topper was when i asked (nicely) for a supervisor to see if we could get this taken care of, "Scott" said, I have to pay it and I again asked for a supervisor, he informed me that he was President of Verizon.  I was put on hold and alittle over 1 hour later, I hung up.  I feel as though Im being held hostage by Verizon, also, I find they have no office for their services, only for cell phone accts.  Help, where do I go next.???

I just got the service so I haven't even received my first bill. No message and I didn't know who it was. I JUST started service.

I receive this message at my work phone.  I've never given Verizon my work number.  I'm convinced that this message isn't Verizon at all, just a scam number claiming to be Verizon.

Verizon was suppose to cancel service at my request 7/13/10.  They called Wed 7./14/10 for payment.

When I canceled the service I told them to send me a bill.

I got a call from "Verizon" telling me that I was late in payments.  I was because they took me off automatic withdrawal without telling me.  The problem is I already paid the bill on Verizon.net -- the operator told me I should have paid it on Verizon.com (despite my bill instructions) and that my account number has been changed (from the latest bill I was holding in my hand).  "It takes longer for payments to appear when you pay by Verizon.net."  I think this is a scam.  I think these crooks have access to Verizon customers who are late in paying and then redirect the payment to themselves.  I can't even pay a bill on Verizon.com it shifts immediately to Verizon.net.  When she found out I already paid, she could could hardly ask me to send in the payment again.  Had I not paid the bill already, I might have sent it to the wrong people.

Called this number back (on mute, of course) and the Verizon rep that answered proceeded to serinade me....quite interesting to say the least!  I wised up and CANCELLED all Verizon FiOS services due to increase in billing fees.  Switched to Charter, which is too long of a nightmare to even touch on.  Short story long (Sorry!), I called Verizon back requesting a returned call for possible quote to re-instate services.  Actually placed 4 calls like this and NEVER received a returned call.  I still have equipment, however, it is painfully obvious that Verizon has no intention of EVER returning the call.  (Guess they don't need addition businss!).  Needless to say, all equipment is being returned now....quite the experience!

I got this call today right after is disputed my most current bill.  I get overcharged for Verizon FIOS a lot and this year they seem less interested in fixing the problem.  As soon as you dispute a bill they threaten to shut your services off.  I guess they spend all there money on the FIOS upgrade and nothing on an up to day accounting system.

They use many tactics.  Like they offer you something and they don't follow through.  They say that they don't have contracts and then when you try to cancel because you get sick of their games they say that it's not a contract, but yet a commitment.  What kind of BS is that?!!! And they know that if you don't follow through that they get your credit. They simply have no morals!! I will never do business with Verizon again!!!

Those a**les at Verizon don't know what they're doing. I've never been late on a payment (I have autopay) and I have received 3 calls in the last 4 hours from this number. I came here to find out where the number was from, and sure enough, it was the idiots at Verizon. This is the last straw for me. That company has done so many asinine and infuriating things due to poor customer service I am done with them @ the end of my contract.

Verizon - bill pay. Keep calling sending letters when I call them back they don't know why I'm receiving notices about overdue bills. This has been going on for 2 months now.

This number calls my cell phone (twice so far), leaves a message that they sent me a letter about my overdue bill and that I need to call this number back if I have already paid.  I called the number and it was Verizon (residential), they verified that I have no Verizon account (had one three years ago).  They also found a fraudulent account under my name that happened 5 years ago.  But they could not tell me why I was getting calls now.  They transfered me to Verizon Wireless to see if there was a problem there, but they were even less helpful.

OK, so this # called my cell, no voicemail... but here's the kicker: I do not have Verizon, and I have never had Verizon... ever.  I hope it's just a one-time error on their part.

called twice... no message.. only number appears.. yes it is Verizon... late payment department...  problem is I have electronic payment and auto pay on due date....  the ebill paying company and myself did not receive most recent bill...  talked to verizon... after convincing service rep we had a combined bill not just a home bill they finally switched me to their eBill department.... was on hold approx. 5 minutes and then their end disconnected... called 'bill paying company'... they confirmed no ebill had been received by them either.... they tried to call verizon support and lines were so busy they could not get through...  verison needs to have less people walking around doing nothing in their adds and put them on the phones

This one I find funny! I do have verizon.  I have automatic bill pay.  I called verizon after recieving this call to find out why I am late. Why they did not automatically withdraw the funds.  The CSR checked and it was on time and was paid.  I even went online and checked my account and shows I have a 0 balance due.  Go figure!  Maybe Verizon is in financial turmoil like the banks on wall street and this is a tactic to get customers thiking they forgot to make a payment and pay ahead.  Who knows maybe the CEO is going to leave or get fired and wants to make sure he has his multi million a year in severence pay.

This is a recorded message saying your verizon bill is late.  I got this call and do not have verizon.

Someone from this number keeps calling.  When I answer, no one speaks.  Attempted to call the number back and got nothing but STATIC.
