Startec Communications -- guy calling himself Michael left vmsg saying this call will take a few minutes to verify my online order from Startec Communications, the long distance provider.  What online order?  I never heard of this company, and this is the 3rd cold turkey call from them.

There are laws in florida which were established to protect Floridians from harasshing call from debt collectors regardless of where the actualy company was based out of. And if all else fails you could change your phone number lol.  I received one of these calls and called back.  They were looking for an Iccabob (not sure of how to spell that) Jennings.  Im gonna assume its some ficticious name someone had.  They were very nasty about i had had to provide them with my DL number and SS# to verify that I was not Iccabob.  I promptly told them to F$$K off and that I would not give them that information and they could serve Iccabob with papers at whatever address they had on file. I also told them if they called again. I would turn around and sue them and that the call had been recorded for my protection purposes....I have not received a call yet from them....Has been about a month now.

Holloway Credit Solutions: They normally manage apartments for college/ student housing.

They call a couple times a week. I never answer the call. I can't ever pay the bill anyway :-(

they are NOT supposed to leave messages stating they are a collection agency... you can sue them for that. I would look for a lawyer that handles these tpes of situations. as a debt collector myself I know that is against the FDCPA. Look it up!

Not sure how they even got my number b/c I just got this phone. My number isnt even a year old yet. So why and how are they calling me? Scam...he asked me for the number they called. I said umm Im calling from the number you called and I dont feel comfortable giving out my number to a stranger. He said its a business matter. I said ok....well since I have no idea who Holloway Credit Solutions is and I am therefore not affiliated with them in any manner, I am going to assume you have dialed the wrong number. Thank you.

I just let calls with toll free or unknown area codes go to voicemail.  If it's someone that really knows or needs to talk to me, they will leave a message.  I can then choose if I wish to return their call!

If you are getting calls from the a*holes just block their calls. They are not going to stop if you tell them they have the wrong number, send them them a certified letter, report them to do not call list or report them to your attorney general.
If you have a home phone all you need to do is get a phone with caller id block. Uniden and Panasonic make them now. The uniden I have does not even ring once, just blocks their calls. If they call on your cell and you do not have caller id block, just save them as a contact and set their ringtone to no ring.

Please I am dealing with Cancer & pay what I can! Medicare & Medicaid messed up and I do what I can to pay when I can. Please call Medicare &/or Medicaid.

A company that is attached to holloway and moxley law firm in montgomery alabama.  Call and complain if they are calling during "non convenience" hours.  They typically collect medical bills.

Very annoying phone call. Calls 2 or 3 times daily. Leaves message on answering machine, can not understand because of strong accent.

Called me 5 times in 1 hours; did not answer but once; found this site and will not call them back.  Bottom feeders.

I get called all hours of the night and day.  They claim you can press "1" and speak to a person immediately, but that's never worked for me.  I press the number and music comes on and then it goes off after about 30 seconds.  I never get a person to talk to.  The voicemail (when they leave one) is a male voice requesting you either hit 1 for an attendant or call back at this number.  The last phone call I got was on my cell at 2:29am today (Feb. 9)!

These calls are from Holloway Creditors "Holloway Credit Solutions"  they call about unpaid medical bills.  Hope this helps.  They have been on my case for 7-8 years!

These idiots call my house many times a day. They think I am going to jump up and answer the phone over some old (think under $100) medical bills on my kids. When I get my tax refund, I'll pay some of them, as I do every year.

They waste more time dialing my number and mailing the same notices over and over and over. I have been dealing with them for about 8 years now. You can't speak to a person when you pick up anyway. They want you to call back, admit your number, so they can get it on tape, just FYI.

This 800 service keeps calling for someone that does not live here and the only option on there voice system is if you are so and so press 1 and i cant notify them that they have the wrong number.

They have been calling me for the past month now. I never answer the phone and the people that leave these message really need to learn english! The last few days I've just been picking up the phone and letting them listen to the TV or radio playing or bang something really loud in their year. I have gotten them to go down from calling me 5 to 6 times a day to once a day!! They might just give up soon!!

Check my message and hear these exact words "Hi, this is Jim Taylor with Holloway Credit Solution." " You can press 1 and speak with an attendant or call 1(800) 206-3073 or if in Montgomery area call (334)396-3000. This is important reference a debt collection" Anyway, when i hear this message i immediately call back the "800" number and someone hangs up. After reading these post, does anyone out there know how to legal sue these people who waste valuable time. Seems like a "Scheme to Defraud" would be appropriate as far as laws are concerned.

This is the second call in two days from 1-800-206-3073.  I returned the first call and got an automated response telling me I would be connected to an agent-I hung up.  My thinking was someone trying to sell me a policy of some sort.  Today I returned the call and spoke to an operator.  I explained that I had just been called from this number and wanted to know who was calling.  The operator asked for my number.  I explained I was calling from the number they had called and could not believe they did not know my number.  I blew my whistle loudly into the receiver and told her not to call me again.

This number has called my number every hour on the hour around the clock...

Apparently this company is not familiar with or follows the federal laws regarding Fair Debt and Collection Act....

I have no idea who this is but it is all the time. Noone ever answers the phone when i pick it up.
