Sorry, just saw this reply, so have you tried to book your cruise? Let me know if this is worth the 90 minutes, or if it is a complete scam.

Hi, Did you go to the presentation yet? Just wondering because my husband and I just made an appointment to go on Thurs the 22nd. If you did, what did you think of it, we are planning to go and buy nothing and seeing if you still get the free cruise. There are a few reports online about them and I do really think they are a scam. Please reply and let me know what you think.

This is a company called "Brightwater Travel" which has been sued and found guilty of misrepresentation in the State of New Jersey.  Now they are scamming using postcards with a Tampa, Florida permit.  They are a "cruise time share" that requires a mandatory 90 minute presentation with spouse and they will hard core you to sign into a contract that looks like a time share, acts like a timeshare, and quacks like a timeshare.  Very deceptive advertising which leads me to think that their product has no value at all as filed in a New Jersey Court case.

This is a switch and bait company.  The postcard does not state any company on it.  They require a 90 minute "session" with both spouses.  They will hard core sell you on a "cruise timeshare". The postcard states that "that this is not a timeshare or land sale offer."  This is pure deception.  These people are boiler room snake oil salespeople.  They are a New Jersey company that uses a Tampa Florida mailing permit to evade laws that they broke in New Jersey.  They are not allowed to operate and mail this type of deceptive postcard in New Jersey because they have been sued and shut down in New Jersey.  They are not trying to do the same thing through Florida. Rip the card up and do not waste your time

If something sounds too good to be true it is.  Do not fall for these pieces of sh**.

I received the same post card.  I immediately looked to see who had sent it and nothing on the card is indicated from where it came from, which always sends up a red signal for me.  If as a legitimate (non-skeeming) business, you can't identify yourself upfront, this tells me that the company is up to something.  I did not call because whether this is a timeshare or not, trust me they are trying to sell you something.  Nothing is free.  Even if you don't buy into their presentation, but want to take advantage of the so called "complementary cruise for two"  it's going to cost you air and cruise taxes and fees and all of this adds up, and what is complimentary about that??? I'm not buying into any of this.  I'm old enough to know that whoever these people are they are not doing this to give away anything complimentary or free.  Always be very careful of those who approach you with some offer that sounds too good to be true.  Do your research before moving forward on things like this.  You may end up getting yourself locked into something and regretting it.

it is a real company, called blue water gateway. Mu husband and I went their presentation on this past Sat. July 3.  Their wab is www.bluewatergateway.com.

you can ge the cruise with airfare foe free after you atten the 90 min presentation. However you have to pay for the tax and fees on the cruise and airline tickets. $249 for each cruise and $50 for each airline ticket. So the  total is $600 for the cruise and airline for two people. It is not bad. I think it is worth to go.

I did not receive a call - unless it is one of the "private caller" or "out of area" listed on my caller ID, but I did receive the post card.  I did find Brightwater Travel on line http://www.brightwatertravel.com/6320625_65877.htm  but you can't get any info unless you "log in" and the phone number is different.  I did note that the postal permit on the post card is from Tampa.  I called and got a message "Passport Holidays" and they asked for my name and telephone number and this would be "permission" or a "contract" for them to call you.  Called from work and didn't leave any info.  I googled Passport Holidays and found listings in Daytona and Ormond Beach, FL.  I also found an a news artlcle from 2005 that Verizon sued them for sending spam text messages to Verizon cell phone users causing them to pay for the the spam messages!  Passportholidays.com gets me "under construction."  I would say that this is a reincarnation of telephone spam because of the No Call lists.  Remember, if you call them and leave your phone number, they can call you legally.

So, I did call the number, fully expect a timeshare promotion. I represented myself as being single and the customer rep reported that this offer is for married or cohabitating couples which sends up a red flag that this is, indeed, a timeshare scheme. She did report that this promotion is offered by Brightwater Travel based out of Egg Harbor, NJ. I could not find this company online. I'm sure it's a scam.

I didn't actually get a call from this number, but wanted to look it up because it's the only contact info on a postcard I got stating I've been selected for a free 8 day/7 night cruise.  There's no company name, website, or return address on the postcard, just this phone number.  Looks like a scam (even though it says it's not a timeshare or land sale offer)...
