Hello I am going thru refinance and some thing on my credit report about I owe 165 dollars ok I say to who and come to find out HSBC I call them they say Capitol one has it Capitol one say
They sold it to forward properties and they can't locate my acount and for this 165 buks I am having run around and this mortgage company wants pay off report how the f I am gonna give it to them.

I too received a call from 832-390-2131 and was left a message that stated the exact same info. that Jeff Mathews has stated below.

I have no clue or idean of how they got my number and they are crazy if they expect me to respond to voice mail messages such as this one.

I plan to ignore this and any future such message such as these.

I received a call for you today. Not sure how they got this number. Anyhow, it was a litigation office in reference to a restraining order. That is all the information they would give me. They said you need to contact them within 24-48 hrs.

This number is for Forward Properties, a debt collector. They collect for accts that have charged off with HSBC/Metris (you may have had a Direct merchants account inthe past). I verified this with management at HSBC, and the collector is legit.

I have been being harassed by two companies, United Legal Alliance and Trans Continental Process Servers, both of which stated they were collecting a debt for HSBC/Orchard Bank.  Neither would give me their address and after informing them that I looked them up and found they are scamming people, they hung up on me.

I called HSBC/Orchard Bank and they would not verify any information but wanted the credit card number that was issued.  I tried to tell them I never applied for or receive any Mastercard from them.  Still, they refused to give me any information about the supposed debt that they said I owed and would not mail a statement to my address.

I'll be giving this to our State's Attorney

Are they legit. Do you have any information regarding them.

ok i was told to look this up and give a little info on an account i have in collections and this what i get ?how will this help me settle this account or figure out who opened it ?
