I just got the Microtech call, exactly as you described. I went along with the program and as I was "logging on', I said, "Oh my, there is a message here from the FBI and Interpol saying that they are doing a criminal investigation on your company and this phone number.  All I heard after that was a click.

It is a call from Microtech. They have discovered a problem reported from the public domain. They claim to be working with Microsoft and want you to log into their website so they can fix it. DO NOT do that. Once they are in your computer the least thing they can do is screw it up, the worst is steal all your information. The caller went on with a lengthy explanation about my windows operating system and asked if it was sluggish or running slow. So I told him I had an apple computer and he was somewhat confused but said he would take me out of their system. BTW, I am running windows...

Robo call saying we have reached this number in error and hangs up. Wonder if it is checking to see if house is occupied during the day. We have an alarm system and sign out front so it is not an individual who is familiar with us or our neighborhood. Creepy!
