My fraudulent charge is $15...
They may have switched tactics to a large number of small charges.

I'm from Malaysian. I got sucking charged from TRAVELOCITY HOTEL RESERV 800-256-9089 US on my credit card. I didn't make any booking or reservation from this company. Luckily, I got sms notification immediately after that charge. The total is about US$97.06. During that time I got 2 charges from the different company and the one is from TRAVELOCITY HOTEL RESERV 800-256-9089 US. Another charged I was forgot to remember. I already ask my card center to block my credit card immediately. I was thinking that maybe not a mistake from TRAVELOCITY HOTEL RESERV. This maybe someone has tried entering my card numbers. I've been told that, this transaction is failed 7 times due to wrongly enter the expiry date. At last he managed to enter the correct expiry date on the 8th attempts. I hope this will not happened again in the future. Just to share my experience and hoping everybody careful if you want to use a credit cards via internet!!!! TQ

I had a $60 charge.. I initially thought is was fraudulent but it came back to me
travelocity is the travel company for AAA, whom I recently booked travel.
I remembered that I had made a change in my flight and I agreed to this charge for them to book it. I could have hung up the phone and did it direct, but it was booked via AAA, who uses travelicoty, who booked via United Air, but the flight was US AIR. Seemed too confusing and she seemed to have it under control so I said fine

This number posted a $30 fee-in the name of Travelocity. The fee was incurred by a business associate-notice I didn't say a co-worker-and they allowed him to charge my card without my permission.

I think it is Travelocity #, because I booked a hotel through them and this is the number that showed up on my band statement.

I had a charge from this number too. After reviewing my receipts, it turns out that it was Enterprise. I bought some of the additional insurance and it was billed separately from the actual car rental.

I had a charge on my credit card with this number listed. I too thought it was a scam. I had booked travel thru bestfares.com and the airline travel and motel charges were listed as separate. At least for me, it is ligit.

I was curious about a $5 charge from this company, looked it up, read all of these replies, and remembered after buying a plane ticket through a company like travelocity that right before i hit submit payment in fine print it said that i may have a separate charge for $5 dollars which was a type of service fee. I'm fine with the charge now that i realize it said it right there before i bought anything. I ended up saving almost $90 by going through this website.
thought this might help.

Booked through off2hawaii.com, and that was a huge mistake. I got charged a $20 service fee for no service. The email confirmation could not even be received by my computer because the website was not trustworthy. I tried to reason with off2hawaii and travelocity for over an hour, but they did not listen. I used to trust travelocity, but no longer. Now I know why they do not wish to associate themselves with this website.

SAW 12/25/2009 Fri TRAVEL AGENCY SERVICE 800-256-9089 TX 0 name 30.00 - billing information" on my AMEX credit card summary - NOT on caller ID. Called at 6:30am to see who the company is and all I heard was that I called the Billing Department, no name or other info. Will call during operating hours and find out who and why they charged me $30.00 - I did use Travelocity to make an airline reservation, then had to cancel and make another one but the change was going to be $180 not $30 - something may be up.

I found a $391 charge on my credit card - with this number noting it was an AMEX HOTL charge. it was not Amex - it was not a hotel. I am trying to reach this number to find out what it is. I notified my Mastercard about it.... Will post once i find out.

Charge for $177.34 on AMEX. AMEX confirmed the charge going through Travelocity for Gaylord Palms Hotel in Florida.

I also had a fraudulent charge on my credit card of over $400 from a vendor identified only as 800-256-9089 TX. The charge was supposedly for a "Travel - Package Trip." When I first called the number they answered as "Access America," a travel insurance co. They claimed the charge was not theirs. When I looked up the real Access America online, they had a different telephone number, which I called. They tried to call the 800 number on my credit card statement, and got an answering machine saying, "this is the billing dept, call back during business hours." I tried the same number again, and sure enough got the same answering machine message in a very foreign sounding voice.
I have had to not only dispute the charge with my credit card co., but also cancel my credit card and purchase credit monitoring and fraud protection. If you see this telephone number on your statement, you should do the same.

Found a charge on my credit card statement from AOL.COM TRAVEL svc fee 800-256-9089 TX for $7.00. This was an unauthorized charge. This is a scam too. Had another scam charge on my card from another outfit called Resrvation Rewards. Need to watch the statements every month for this stuff.

I used my credit card at the airport to get my electronic ticket (Air France) which had been payed on the internet way before. They use it to recognize you.
Travel-Svcfees charged me $30 and they refunded me several days after.
I think they play with the money for some days...

For me this was actually a correct charge on our business credit card account. I made flight reservations on United airlines with a company called YTB Travel Network (www.ytb.com) for my boss. This number was listed on the transaction description, "Travel-SVCFEES/OTHER 800-256-9089 TX." I hope this helps others who may have experienced a problem, but in my case, the information and charge was accurate.

After discovering several erroneous charges against my checking account via the internet, I went back several months. I found this charge in March. I traveled in February, didn't use Travelocity. It is only 2.99 but it still ticks me off that somewhere on these sites we unknowingly are being sucked into these things. As for me, I am turning it over with the rest I discovered to the fraud division of my bank. This was not even a phone call but on my statement i5t has the phone number that is requsting payment, thank goodness!
