I started getting calls from this 800 Service # about few weeks ago.  I usually either don't answer my home phone or I PICK UP THE LINE, WAIT FEW SECONDS (Until a HUMAN talks), then I SCREAM MY A** OFF in the caller's ear - "WHAT D FU?K DO YOU WANT".  You do this 2 or 3 times, I guarantee you they stop calling.  Works great for me... Go ahead try it - Stress Relief.

got a call from this number twice. both times a man asked for 'the parents of..(our child).'. the first call, the man was mumbling about some non profit institution and i asked him who he was with and he hung up. the second call - today - i immediately reply, "who should i say is calling?" and he hung up quicker than the previous caller. both times i called the number back and got no ring or connection. then decided to check online and found lots of info on this particular # and many others.

This rude guy called and was at a lost of words. I had to say hello multiple times. He then asked to speak to SSSS's mom or dad. When I responded stating I was her mom the man said, "Seriously". So once again I was like, "HEEELLLLOOO", he got frustrated and told me I need to calm down and never mind he didn't want to continue on, which was fine w/me b/c I don't have time to keep saying hello. When you call someone elses home know what you want and get to the point. My time is valuable.

They called twice today. I have my answering machine on always and i have a strict rule, "If you don't leave a message or I don't recognise the number I don't pick up. It's my phone, I pay the bill and I answer when I want to, not when they demand it.

Refused to answer since I could tell it was a telemarketer. Since I am on the Do Not Call list I should not be getting these type of annoying calls. These callers ned to be prosecuted.

this number called and asked to speak to my daughters mom or dad.  they said her name.  i asked
them who shall i say is calling, not letting them know i was her parent, and there was no response
back, so i said hello, hello, no response, so i hung up.  very strange, and very unnerving, as my
daughter is not at home right now, and i had to wonder if something was wrong!  but seeing other
comments about this, i just think its a shifty way to get to people who are on the do not call lists,
as we are!

This number called and asked to speak to my daughters mom or dad. They said her name. When I replied I was her mom, it beeped two times and then hung up. I called the number and it said all were busy right now, leave your name and number and they would get back to me. I have called the number about 10 times, and no one has answered.Very suspicious...

800/260-4306 came up on my caller ID as 800 Service, but it?s associated with Bank of America and what they call ?their insurance partners?. I've recently asked BOA to take me off their calling list and their insurance partner calling lists since I've had a bunch of calls recently (see below for some of the numbers).

There's a BOA privacy website you can access to opt out of these telemarketing calls: www.bankofamerica.com/privacy/ Under the Set Your Privacy Preferences heading, click on Set Your Preferences and follow their directions.

You can also CALL their privacy line at 1-888-341-5000, which is what I did. There's a 2-step process to stop these calls. 1-They'll opt your phone number out of any BOA marketing. 2-Then they'll connect you with their insurance products number: you enter your phone number and it automatically opts you out of their insurance partner marketing. They assured me that there were no other partner marketing numbers to opt out of, so these two should do it.

FYI:BOA explained the reason why no one is on the line with so many of these telemarketing calls: it's an automatic dialer. If a sales rep happens to have an open line when your number is called, they're connected with you. If there's no available rep at that time, you get the click and the hang-up experience, and your number is recycled in their system to dial again later.

The BOA or their insurance partner numbers that have harrassed me in the last 2 months are:  800-814-6326, 714-551-5579, 888-665-9900, 405-285-0754, 405-285-0551, 402-982-0584 and 805/309-5551. Some come up as Farmers Insurance on Caller ID, some come up as Insurance Services, 800 Services, Call Center, ... they're all connected.
