I dialed this number in haste, by mistake, expecting comcast customer service.  The rep asked for my name &address.  She repeatedly promoted a $35 start up program for home security, then transferred me to direct tv.  Now I realize the service rep could not have been from comcast!

Yep, they asked me about Direct tv, home security. I mis dialed Comcast. Very aggravating.

Yeah, that just happened to me. They wanted to "verify" my account, asked for my number, and then he went into his sales pitch...Lame

I misdialed Comcast and got DirectSat, who pretended to be Comcast as a sales tactic to sell DirectTV, and AT&T phone service.

i did the same and it went to some security system company - with some brief HDTV channels advt.. did they change it or something?

I Mis-dialed Comcast and got this idiotic sex stuff then they texted me twice.
From 818-237-7895 and 818 222-5688

I did not read the text messages ,

I dialed Comcast incorrectly also.  It is a s#x line and I immediately received two unwanted and sleezy texts from 818-224-4688.  It said to reply Y to receive more or END to stop and incur no more charges.  I texted back END to both and have gotten no more.  Hope this helps

I too mis-dialed Comcast number and dialed 1-800-266-2277, it was a recorded sex message, within half an hour I had received 2 porn sms messages.  Anyone know how to make them STOP?

yeah same thing happened to me just now! that's what i get for listening to my brother about calling comcast this late! now i'm getting crazy texts from these people! please help! how do i stop this! I orginally dialed 800-266-2277(crap missed it by 1 number)
