Everyone ought to call these names and numbers associated with this collection agency and HARASS the hell out of them just to be spiteful in response to their relatives a***ole rudeness and being so low that they take a job like that in the first place.   I think everyone knows what kind of a person it takes to accept a job like this anyway.     I am sure they thrive on being axxholes to debters

Receive calls from these people at Focus wanting David K to contact them.  I don't know David K. I don't know where David K works. I don't know where David K. lives.  I had never heard of David K until receiving 1,200 calls for him over the past two and a half years.  David K should pay our phone bill--his debt collectors use our phone more than we do.  David K should pay his debts.

They called and left information to call back with a file number.  When I called them back they couldn't give me any information until I told them who I was.  I wouldn't give them any information about myself because I didn't know who they were, if it was a legitimate call or what they were going to do with the information.  She did say the only thing she could say was that the call was for a male.  This actually helped a lot since the number they called is for my business and I am the only one that works at my business (I'm female).  So she took the number off her call list and said thank you.  She was polite to me during the call and hopefully I don't have to worry about them calling here again.

We keep getting calls from this number, nobody on the other end when we answer and no message left when we don't answer.

Same phone number 800-268-3486.. has been calling our house phone for about a week. I never get an actual person just the recording telling me to call them back.. IM SORRY BUT A DEBT COLLECTOR WILL BE ON THE PHONE TO MAKE SURE THERE IS CONTACT OR THEY SEND OUT LETTERS (TRUST ME). I too believe this is a scam and will NOT be returning any phone calls and giving NO ONE my information or money.

If the collection agency is in a different state then you THEY CAN DO NOTHING! Just don't take any calls you don't know who it is. If you owe a debt and it's in collections, I wouldn't pay them a dime. Collection agencies and finding out who has debt and trying to collect on debts they may not have purchased. You can do as I did and go to getoutofdebtfree and send out letters to stop the calls, or you can find templets on line. You send them a letter and they by law can nor call you anymore. Some stop and some don't but just don't talk or agree to pay anything or it can become a contract then your realy sunk. Look up your rights read the free bood on line by Mary Elizabeth Croft .

I am getting some ridiculous debt collection calls from focus recievables

"Ms. Logan x2104" refuses to leave a voice-mail message.  I'm sure this is a bill collector - possibly for Discover Card.

A man named Damon Smith called my home number last two days. Ask me to return his call.

Received call from Focus AM with this toll free number.  Personhe wanted to talk to was husband's ex-wife who has never had a connection to my number.  When I questioned him about how he got the number he became angry and said he could not reveal anything about the person he was calling.  Going to report conversation to the Attorney General's office of Texas.

call came into work earlier for an employee - guy was very rude, would not reveal company he was with only said Atlanta, GA when asked who he was with.

A "Sam Housen" called me from 800-268-3486 and politely said that he was from Focus Receivables Management, and that it was involving personal business. I said that I wasn't the person that they were trying to call, and they said that they would remove my name in 24-72 hours.

I had a similar call from a "Rajesh" at Allied Interstate, at 800-214-8742, about two months ago.

I've never had a Discover card in my life.

Focus Receivables Management - collection agency for Discover Card. Very unprofessional. Had to get rude back when the called refused to get me information on the debt via email or FAX. Said I was stalling for time. Who is going to just give out bank information over the phone to someone that claims you have an owed debt? Too much ID theft these days. Caller ID showed 678 228 2890, which reported to be a disconnected / no service number when tried to call back that number. Got the toll-free number after doing some digging and called the number. Amazing that noone answers, they expect you to leave a message though. Hours of operation are Mon-Thurs 8a-9p and Friday 8a-6p. I didnt leave a message for a call back. Why invite the hassle / rudeness. I need to buy a police whistle for their next call.

I got a call from the same number, but the lady left her name and extension.  (Alicia Kyser) demanding that I call back, but left no info.

A lady (no name leave this time) called my home number, that's 3rd time since Tuesday. leave a message said, I NEED to call her back but leave no informations. just the 800 number with ext:2072

A lady (Osborn) called me at work from this number. It's a collection agency. I got their address but forgot to ask for the agency name:

She was collecting a past due Discover Card balance. I advised her that I will call Discover directly and validate the debt. She didn't like that and was insisting that I pay over the phone(60% discount offer)! I advised her I will not pay anything over the phone and to stop calling me, and if they want to contact me to do it through mail. She ended the call with have a nice day! At least she wasn't rude!

This company called my office last week asking for one of our employees, which I transfered the call, but our employee hung up on the man. So he called right back, a Mr. Marshall, the employee declined to speak with the man so I sent him to Voicemail. He then called right back and I told him that my co-worker didn't desire to speak with him and he got assinine. Screaming and being just flat out rude. I told him he was being very unprofessional and I wanted to speak with his supervisor, he told me he didnt have a supervisor, but he wanted to speak to mine. So I gave the phone to my "supervisor", the first person who walked to my desk, and he had it out with this Mr. Marshall too. I have no respect for these losers on the other end of line talking to people like this. I would never give them what they want, nor will my co-worker. This company is a joke and I would suggest being just as rude and ignorant as they are.

Same man is calling me at work and ignoring the ceased and desist letter sent to company.  I believe his name is Mike C.  He is extremely rude and making threats against me and states my assets will be ceased and payroll deducted.  However, I do live in State Of Texas and I know what the laws are.  The company cannot not do anything without a court order, in which I can hire a lawyer to defend myself and file a counter lawsuit against the company for thier illegal practices.  And in addition, State of Texas does not allow non-government agencies to deduct for payroll.  The only thing I can tell you, is terminate the call ASAP, don't acknowledge the debt, and don't agree to pay anything until the company sends you written verification of debt.  By law, collection companies must send notice in mail within 3 business days.

A man called me and gave me this number call him back. I hung up on him and he called me back immediately (at work no less) he told me he was collecting for my past due Discover Card balance. He began screaming at me telling me not to speak over him. He threatened me and told me I needed to deposit money into an account by 130pm on Nov 2nd. He gave me a bank name, address, wire number, and account number. He was very rude and unprofessional. I couldn't believe the way he was talking to me. Unfortunately, I don't have the actual number he called me from, only the number he gave me. He told me I better call him back by 2pm on Fri with a confirmation number, I told him I didn't think there was any reason why I needed to call him back. He told me it would be in my best interest otherwise I would be hearing a lot more from him. He was completely uncalled for. I didn't catch his name but his extension is 2106. My roommate thinks it's a scam.
