This phone number keeps calling our office phone. Stop!

I'ts a disclosed number and has the information that it's http://www.efscollects.com/contact.html They have  a BBB report http://www.bbb.org/eastern-washington/busines ... ima-wa-56000561 You may find that it's family friend related. Review your rights when dealing with them.

Follow the steps in what you need to know. Send them a cease and desist letter via certified US mail. You can find a template free online for that.  If they continue once you have delivered the letter via certified mail, then you can file complaints with the FTC and your state Attorney General.. and I'd see a attorney to stop it after that point if they continue, they can be sued.  These agency's tend to call a number that may have been someone else's who they are looking for, or even relatives and neighbors.  It might even be skip tracing.

Just received a call from this place to my 604 area code cellphone.

I didn't answer in time. I don't have any outstanding debts or overdue bills... why is a collection agency calling me?

Don't even bother filing a complaint. If you go to the website, you can see 5 complaints on the BBB webpage for these guys. Every one is an argument between a complaint filer and a manager, and everyone the BBB gives to the company saying that either the issue is assumed to be resolved or Evergreen offered a fair deal and the customer didn't accept. A+ from the BBB? Now I don't even trust the BBB...

It's prolly not a good idea to post intentions of bodily harm on the internet, wheter true threats or fantasy. If harm does come to the person(s) you indicate, by other person(s), you may be indicated as the perpatraitor of said harm.

Yes, it is a debt collection service based in Yakima, Washington (the branch I have received calls from, anyway). I have received calls like this before. In an attempt to collect the debt owed, they will call the neighbors located in the area of the last known address of the debtor to try to locate this person or persons. They identify themselves and say that this number "was listed as a contact number for so and so." I think they use an automatic dialing system. I never recognize the names they give. I have found them to be polite and never pressure me for any information.  I have to agree, though, that they are very annoying calls to receive - always leave me feeling unsettled and feeling a bit like my privacy, such as it is in this day and age, has been invaded. I also feel grateful that I have a job and can pay my bills!

Got a call from this number.  They asked for a person who could have been my son but does not live at my address.  I told them I had a son that name but he doesn't live here and they hung up.

These people keep sending me emails that say I have an evoice and I need to download software in order to hear the message!! WTF!!  Calling our home isn't bad enough now we get harassed via email!! Plus I don't owe anyone anything so it can't be me they are looking for...grrr!

Was called by this number. I didn't answer it. They did not leave a message. I just looked number up on the internet to see if it was some crappy company trying to sell something.

I don't like to get advertizing calls. I was just checking out the number using Google (the unAmerican company that puts up a "Thinker" statue in their Google logo, rather than honor our fallen soldiers on this special holiday.)

I have pled my case numerous times to these people.  I don't know the guy they are looking for.  I am a female, my voice mail presents me as female, i.e., name, voice.  They are looking for a guy!  Get a clue.  I have asked them to take me off of their list.  They are rude, continue to call regardless.  After numerous phone calls, at least 10 to 15, I spoke to the supervisor and plead for her to take me off of their calling list.They do for approximately three months with no phone call.  Then it begins again today. You have got to be kidding me.  I hope the guy they are looking for took them for A LOT of cash.  You would think so after all of the harrassement I have endured.  One more argument to show how illogical these people are (and I use the term loosely, here).  If I were the guy, or knew the guy, and I owed them money, it would stand to reason that I would simply get a new phone number.  I will get a new number at the beginning of next month.  I hope the BBB gets enough complaints that they put them out of business.  Here's a way to raise state or federal revenue, FINE THESE PEOPLE FOR VIOLATIONS AGAINST THE PUBLIC SUBSTANTIALLY!!!!!!!

Received a message on my cell phone from this number 10:30am.  The woman said, "******, this is Corrine.  I need you or ****** to call me at the office here in *********** at 1-800-280-5879."  Click, she hangs up.  She spoke as though I knew her, but I have NO clue as to who she is and she can bite it.  I'm not calling her back.  I'm blocking the number.

This number calls me three and four times a day, morning, noon and night and are even nasty in their plea for me to call them back. My husband and I have no outstanding bills and if Evergreen has business, they have our phone # so they must have our address.

this people called me for the last 2 days. she even left the message and said I should call back. But it doesn't look like from someone that I know like company etc? Is it collector?

These b*****ds keep calling my phone number, and are looking for someone who had my phone number, previously. They will not stop, even after I gave them a stern warning to stop. I am now going to consult my attorney, take further cease-and-deasist with the harrassment, and then sue these lousy son-of-a-bi****s! Anyone else would have already been arrested for this kind of harrassment. What the hell gives?  It appears there are many folks having the same problem with whoever this is. One more time and am going to find their location, pay them a visit and kick the holy s*** out of these a***oles!

The lady that called said I was on a recorded call and asked for a person other than myself, when i expalined it wasnt me..she questioned me... and then was very rude and just hung up ..

I dont answer #s i dont know so the called first at 10:37 am no message then at 10:48am then they called a third time at 10:58 am so i hit ignore on my fone and all the lady said was her name and that i have to call her back but i could barley understand what she said.

Went on their website and sent them an e-mail. Told them if I am not who you are looking for to remove my number or they can start paying by phone bill.

Report these guys to the BBB if they continue to call repeatedly and hang up, morning after morning...

No message. They keep calling my cell phone. They can pay my bill if they keep calling. Is it even legal I don't give out that number to just anyone.

Woman on the line stated she was looking for one of my neighbors.  Stated a name I had never heard of.  When I said I had no idea who that was, she said thank you and hung up.  How on earth does she know my address or that this person lives anywhere near me?  Big Brother is watching?
