800-294-3920

Calling someone everyday at 9:20am exactly, Monday - Friday is not a great example of trying to get business or help someone.
paul 2012-07-26 14:11:17 Unknown
Shawn, I agree with Roy that you seriously need to grow up.
Bill 2012-05-10 19:38:33 Unknown
Thanks for the explanation.

Just filed a complaint at the FTC for 800 294-3920.
I will keep track of every call and file a complaint for
each one at end of the day. Flood the DNC with complaints.
May or may not help?

I've had several calls from this number, "Mike," and they have never left any message of any kind - and there have not been any problems with my voicemail because several other people have left me messages during the same period of time. Why should I react KINDLY to you when you have already lied?
Roy 2012-03-19 13:17:59 Unknown
Grow up
Mike S. 2011-06-06 20:57:31 Unknown
I've gotten several calls from this number as well and each time there is no one on the other end of the line. I followed the instructions from above and called the company back, GLobal Knowledge, and asked to be removed from their call ist. I'm actually fine with getting sales calls from companies that offer services relavant to my business, but when there is no one on the other end when you answer, that is beyond frustrating.
Shawn 2011-06-06 20:57:31 Unknown
FU Global Knowledge
cmstar10 2011-06-06 20:57:31 Unknown
I called back the number and the message said "Thanks for calling Global Knowledge, please hold for the Technical Advisor."
Sounds like a marketing call for a school of some sort.
D 2011-06-06 20:57:31 Unknown
I keep receiving calls from this number. They have never left a message. I never gave them permission to call my cell phone. I have called them back on a couple of occassions to "KINDLY" request
1) To stop calling my cell phone
2) To tell me how they got my number since I have never done any business with them.
JD 2011-06-06 20:57:31 Unknown
Got a call today and picked up before looking at the Caller ID. (I generally don't answer 800 # calls)
Like mentioned in an earlier post they got my contact info from a white paper I downloaded.
Sales lady (nice voice ;) ) was friendly enough.
Corey 2011-06-06 20:57:31 Unknown
they call me every single day and have NEVER EVER EVER left a message. It's very annoying.
bob 2011-06-06 20:57:31 Unknown
I've been getting calls from Global Knowledge everyday for the past 2 weeks I didn't know it was them till right now. Its to bad because I was actually thinking about taking a course or 2 from them till now.
Curious 2011-06-06 20:57:31 Unknown
I get a call every couple days from this number. They DO leave a voicemail.... a high pitched beep that lasts for about 2-3 seconds before they hang up. I never had any association with this group, but it's my work number, which was passed down from the guy who had my job last.
I wouldn't care if they didn't leave a message, or if the message actually contained something other than an annoying tone that my (older) co-workers can't hear...
Real Professional 2011-06-06 20:57:31 Unknown
A real professional company will (1) not abuse their phone number list and (2) remove a number on the first request, "kindly" or not.
Gunslinger 2011-06-06 20:57:31 Unknown
At least that explains why I get that dumb catalog of yours on a regular basis, always wondered how I got on your mailing and phone list.
Austin 2011-06-06 20:57:31 Unknown
HAHAHA.. I keep getting the calls as well.. Except they call every number on our phone system. We are a college and it is quite annoying. Well I changed my TechRepublic information to their phone number and their address. They send them all the crap. :)
leah 2011-06-06 20:57:31 Unknown
Well if you work for them you might want to let them know that they can be fined for calling ppl on the national DNC list. Which I am on and have been for over a year! I still get calls from this number all the time even AFTER i've kindly asked them to stop calling! Next phone call I get I will be making my own.. to a lawyer!
jason 2011-06-06 20:57:30 Unknown
Got this call, and an identical experience from 800-307-3588, one a day after the other:
answering - caller hangs up without saying anyting/playing any recording
call back - recorded female voice saying they were sorry they missed me when they called back "in response to your request" that I never made. Offered to remove my number from the list if I typed it in. No way to get to an operator. I didn't type my number in, and after a while it said they were forwarding it for manual removal.
Mike 2011-06-06 20:57:30 Unknown
Yes, we are no longer required to leave voice messages because they never got returned and were a waste of our time!
We do sometimes use automatic dialers when calling our customers and prospective customers as well. We are not calling to demand you hand over your wallet right there. We want to assist you with information (if you need any) on IT training courses.
Most of the people we call are members of our partners websites such as Techrepublic, TechTarget, TechWeb, etc. If you download a whitepaper from any one of those sites, and you have your legitimate phone number on your account with those sites, they will refer you to us as someone who might be interested in pursuing IT training courses.
If you would like to call back our number, feel free. Just please be nice about it! We are working professionals helping other professionals with their careers.
Another tip: if you are a member of any of our partner websites, and you don't want calls each time you download a whitepaper or do a webinar, log into your account and change the phone number to something like all 5's, all 9's etc and you will still get access to those valuable resources.
Thanks!

I received a call from this number and no voicemail was left.
they lie if they say they always leave a vox because it's obvious from several people's experience that this is not the case.
Corey 2011-06-06 20:57:30 Unknown
They didn't leave me a message either.
AG 2011-06-06 20:57:30 Unknown
Above comment that they will leave/ required to leave a message. Not true. Called me twice and left no message.
I filled out a form to get a white paper - noting said anything about "We'll call you several times for no apparent reason and just not leave a message."
Ironic: the one time I don't use a fake email and phone number. Thanks for the harassment.
KAM 2011-06-06 20:57:30 Unknown
Received a call today from this company Caller ID: 800-294-3920
Caller: Global Knowledge ... if it is Global Knowledge ...they need to leave a message and should respect if a caller leaves them a message stating that a person does not want calls. EVEN if this is an automatic calling system... the persons number should be removed ... and if it is automatic (FIX IT)....
Matt 2011-06-06 20:57:30 Unknown
Got a call a few minutes ago. Picked up on 2nd ring. Hello? Can I help you? Nothing but silence. Called them back and had them remove my phone number from their call list.
ruthie 2011-06-06 20:57:30 Unknown
from which company is this call originating?
Jeff 2011-06-06 20:57:30 Unknown
They call me every Friday it seems. I don't answer, they get my voicemail and don't leave a message. So Mike above is not correct when he says they are required to leave a message.
I thank my boss on a weekly basis for signing up for training information on my behalf. (training I never got!!)
George 2011-06-06 20:57:30 Unknown
I received a call from this same number. When I answered, the call hung-up. I called back and it was Global Knowledge. Select option 2, and kindly asked them to remove me from their calling list.
My guess is that the company is using an automated calling system and it does not work very well.
And yes, I had enrolled in a class once.
BTW, "Do Not Call" list does not work if you conducted business with the caller. However, you can ask the caller to remove you from their marketing database per their Privacy Policy.
Me 2011-06-06 20:57:30 Unknown
Why and how did we get on this "call list"? This is very annoying. This company needs to stop calling.
