Helvey & A**- Debt collectors- used by consumers energy

Housing Associates? Do you have any idea what kind of company it is and if collector; what do they collect debt for? I have mine paid off so not sure why they're calling me

they go under the name of Housing Associates they called me from 855-804-5716

I called back and they said they are  housing associates they also called from 855-804-5716

Get calls from this number daily. Looked it up and see it is a debt collector. I do not owe anyone any money and pay my bills. They never leave a message. I think one of my grown family members used my number at some point but not sure. This needs to stop.

you need to realize that people do pay there bills and our nation is coming out of a hard time....as well as so people have debts under numbers in which they are no longer associated with and when someone else gets assigned that number it gets extremely irritating when you keep getting calls from debt collectors that dont realize you arent the one being indigent

I called the number back and "ERIC" said she was with a private company but would not give me the name of the company, I ask her what company would be calling me, she ask me for my name, ssn, telephone number, i kindly explained to her that unless I would be given the name of the company that called my phone, i would not give out personal information. ERIC (she) hung up

They call my house several times a day, and ask for someone we don't even know.  I have told them several times not to call us anymore, but they just ask us if we know where she lives.  We don't know her!!!!  No one living at my house has any debt, and there is no reason for them to contact us.

I received a phone call from this number several times a week, never leaves a message and not sure why they would be calling me!!!

These people had the nerve to come to my house!!!!  I came home from work to find a post-it note stuck to my door with a note that said " 800-299-8842, the wrong name and please call this number" How scary is that?!

No message left just constant calls and I call back they want my info and don't say who they are!!

Always calling after 5PM - leaving a message(automated) for unknown person - always a menu to choose from if you answer the phone, but no actual "person" to talk to.  This number is Helvey and Associates(that's right a collection agency).

I am so glad that you are going to see that they are punished. I would love to know what happens, sweet vindication. You are so right they are breaking alot of laws. I get calls from them alot but they never leave a message.

if you work for this company then you shouls identify yourself and the reason you are calling, instead of trying to be so sneaky.  i bet you get ZERO results

Also it is actually AGAINST the law for us to tell someone why we are calling unless it is that person or the spouse and they have verified they are the correct person. :) You might want to actually read the laws. You must have had a lot of disclosures when you worked in collections.

Actually there is about 40-50 employees that work there. When I worked there people would try to call back like you. Then they would get so mad when they got a different person almost every time, because they realized that they were just wasting their own time. :)

AND THE A***OLE WHO SAYS THEY "ALWAYS PAY THEIR BILLS ONTIME" IS FULL OF S***. YOU PROVE THAT TO ME IN WRITING (FOR THE PAST 10 YEARS), AND ILL EAT MY OWN CORN INFESTED TURD.
