They have left message several timers notifying us that we need to "update the PCI and PDE which is required by law".

I will echo what others have said.
This number called my business line and left a voice mail stating that some sort of "update" was "mandatory" and that they had left a previous message which we had not returned. That's already a fraudulent statement because they had NOT left a previous message.
Next the caller stated that she was with our "card association" which was requiring the update. That's the second fraudulent statement and completely ridiculous since our business is not the type of operation that takes credit card payments. We don't have a credit card machine nor any sort of relationship with a credit card operation.
Although the call didn't hit a target here, I suspect that it will frighten a lot of small businesspeople who will think that they are in trouble over their credit card capability.
I'm going to report the call to the Texas Attorney General and suggest that all others who receive a call from these losers report it to their own state authorities.

Robocall telling me to call back about a "mandatory PCI upgrade that your business has not completed". Total BS. They are not my merchant services provider and believe me, I paid through the nose for the new PCI fee already through my legitimate provider. There is, in truth, nothing you have to do yourself to "upgrade" to the new PCI standards. Your credit card merchant service (not these clowns) just yanks an additional $200 out of your checking account, after sending you an email that the fee will be about $100, and there, you're upgraded. This is a sneaky scam, however, since the PCI fee is something recently enacted, within the last year, and your merchant services provider really will tap you for it. Blocked this number in google voice and suggest everyone do the same.

I have received several messages on my business line from caller identified as Merchant Services, with message as follows:
"Hello, this is, merchant services. We recently notified you have a Mandatory PCIPED (?) Update and have not heard from you yet. This update is required by the card Association. Please call us at 1(800) 309-0524 once again that is 1(800) 309-0524. Thank you."
PLEASE make it stop.

I am in the credit card business, one of my merchant called me and said that her terminal is outdated due to "PCI", I advised her that it is not true and to give me the phone number and I called, needless to say that the company(Merchants' Choice) is misleading and claiming to represent my company.
Merchants' Choice owners should clean up and re-educate sales practices.

This company called us today, 2/15/2014 said that we must call back ASAP because we were in need of
doing a mandatory PCI compliance test. We called back and the woman was extremely unprofessional
and wanted us to fax her our merchant services account information to lower our rates. We became concerned and
we discontinued the call. Will report to our state's Attorney General for Consumer Affairs.

This is the second call regarding updating my cc machine. They told me I needed to update it and buy a new one. I'm tired of getting these and want them to stop. I found out from the first call and calling my cc provider that this was a scam. Hopefully others will not fall for their spiel.

The number is not associated with our processor, but a google search has it belonging to Merchants Choice Payment Solutions. They have called before using a different number and a different ruse. Received automated call, leaving this number as a call back: 800-309-0524, saying our merchant services was not PCI compliant, which is incorrect because I do that on line direct from the PCI compliance every year and have already completed the process. Realizing it's a scam from all the posts here.

It's nice to want to get more business, however though. At the expense of dealing with the phone calls every week, telling then not to call again does nothing. If you read the complaints, you will see that we are tired of the endless phone calls. As far as your last statement. They are the only ones who pester, annoy, and refuse to stop calling. Other companies listen and stop calling.

I received a message in our office answering machine that we needed to update our credit card machine so I started talking to this "Monique" girl. She requested ss# and dob and I told her that we didn't feel comfortable giving out this information. I told her I would talk to the owner and let her know. She was harassing to get the information. I called my own merchant company and they told me that it was probably a scam. Since I had already sent some information I called to talk to her supervisor to complain about the way Monique had acted and to make sure they would shred the info I had sent. The supervisor "Ivonne" was unbelievable I can't believe what kind of supervisors these Merchant Choice Payment Solutions company have. She was trying to sell me their equipment even after I had already complained and told them I didn't want it. She even stated that if fraud happens that it will be our fault for not getting their equipment!!! On top of that they are liars!! I was sick for one day and Monique called another staff member and then told them about the information she wanted. The other staff member told her she needed to talk to me because I was the one who handled the merchant info. The next day when I came back she told me she had personally called the other office and that the owner had told her to tell me to give her the ss# and all other information wanted. When I spoke to the other staff member she said she never told her that it was ok to give out the information. These people are just money hungry and they are the ones doing FRAUD!!

We received a call from this company stating we had mandatory updates that were necessary in order to keep using our visa/charge card services. The disturbing thing is they quote "Mandatory Update Required" and led us to believe we had to use their services. Totally dishonest.

Annie says she is from Merchants Choice but the caller ID says Toll Free Caller. She calls looking for "the owner". She won't give any more information. Sorry, you violated all the rules of identification and plain common phone courtesy. Flags you as a scammer. and no one gets thru asking for "the owner" anyway.

1-800-309-0524 has left numerous messages on our business phone saying we have not responded
to request to update our information. Since it sounded like our company I called but I called the number
I have for our credit processing company and surprise was not them this is a scam and I am reporting.
WORD OF CAUTION NEVER give out your info to a caller. Use the numbers you have to call companies you
deal to verify requests for information.
