Yeah, Right!  "guarenteed issue" whatever than means "That pays real benefits" You spelled guaranteed wrong. Which tells me that either English is not your first language or that you are a moron. Either way it sounds like you are in on the scam.

American Health Brokers ARE NOT ACCREDITED WITH THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU!  I know, I work for the BBB, and pat of my job is to help track down these scammers and protect you, the public, from them.  Please be sure that if you are going to post that a company is BBB Accredited, that you have actually checked and confirmed that they are!

How can all you people who never even followed thru sit there and call this company a scam? ? I worked for this company for two years, and I am not an insurance salesman.. and no longer work there, so this benefits me in no way. People with pre existing conditions are limited in their options for health care coverage. Do your research. The policies this company sells are called "Limited-benefit" or "indemnity plans", and they ARE HEALTH INSURANCE PLANS. In short, they are simply structured different than "Major Medical". Ignorance is NOT bliss when it comes to your health, knowledge is power.

I was inquiring online a couple days ago, and immediately started getting calls.  The first several people and I didn't get much past 'Hello' - I apparently don't play well with others.  Then today I got a call from a Michael Cugini.  The first thing I noticed is that he was calling from a New Mexico number, but when I asked, he said his call-back is this same 800-317-4701.  He said he was with America's Health Brokers, and supposedly he was calling from their company headquarters in Dallas.  Really personable guy with smooth manner and fast answers to all my questions - right up to the point where I refused for the fourth or fifth time to give him my credit card.  When I finally told him "Mike, I'll be honest here.  I am not buying ANYTHING until I check YOU out - I don't know you from Adam, and if there is anything I've learned from a lifetime in sales, it is to NEVER trust a salesman.  So e-mail me your info, and your contact info, and let me do some research, and I will get back to you.  He then tried to direct me to different web sites until I told him I preferred to do my own research.  I then asked him to e-mail me a quote outlining my different options, but he responded "That ain't gonna happen."... and things went downhill really rapidly after that.  So - I don't know if he is legit or not, but his manner just set off alarm bells to me, so I don't think I will be going with him.

I didn't get a call from this number but I was given this as a call back number from a guy who called me on a cell phone claiming to be an insurance broker.  I had been on-line looking for quotes a couple of days earlier, so I'm guessing that's how he got my information.

The call started off normal enough but quickly got really weird.  The guy asked me if I could afford $400-$500/month; I said no.  He then asked if I could afford $200-$300/month; I said yes.  He then told me that all of the Blue Cross plans for me and my wife would be at least $400 or $500/month (nonsense) but that he could get me in on a group plan for $229/month.  He read the information about the coverage and it sounded too good to be true.  He then told me that today was the last day to sign up (how convenient) so I needed to sign up right this second.  He said it would only take 1 minute to sign up and that all I needed was a credit card.

At this point, all kinds of red lights were going off.  How can I get health insurance with no type of check of my medical records and without any verified information about me?  I told the guy I was about to go into a meeting and asked if I could call him back later, he then started getting very pushy and rude, asking me "are you serious about getting health insurance or not?"  I told him I was but that I wanted him to e-mail me some information in writing about the policy so that I could review it with my wife before agreeing to anything.  He got really annoyed and said he couldn't send me any information about the policy but he could send me information on a Blue Cross policy. He also, again, asked "are you serious about getting health insurance or not?" and asked for my credit card number.

No reputable company would operate this way.

You are the ignorant one. US Health and US Health Group Inc. are two differant entities and the complaints here are about the latter which ARE scam artisits and there is an impending civil suite filed against them. This is how scammers work; they use a name that is very, very close to a legitimate name and most people never notice the differance.

They ARE a scam!!!! They provide discount prescription services only and do not even do that very well. Try using this "health insurance" for a broken leg, pregnancy, flu, etc and you will find out very quickly that you are NOT covered.

I am a broker in all 50 states and have over 40 years and you are totally incorrect. Telemarkets have hundreds of ways to get your address and phone number and it is done all the time, legally and not so legally. Public records are just what they imply; public, and telemarketers as well as "mailing list" providers, which a lot of insurance brokers use, are easily available and these scammers take advantage of this.

I too have just experienced Frank Grayson only the the number was 954-251-5147. He assured me he that with my pre-exisiting condition of Chrones that I could get coverage with his company because no one else will accept me and that I could get this great deal!! I was excited that after being laidoff and losing my insurance that I could continue my treatment with my own dr and not the free clinic that may or may not see me. But after he kinda whispered his company name he gave me the 800-317-4701 ext 336 number and said America's Health Brokers I immediately googled it & found u and all the others victims of these people!!! At first I was like maybe everybody's experience is different until your details about Frank were like reading my own story. Thanx for posting.

I have received several calls from this number in the past week, seems a bit coincidental,  as I was in hit from behind last Tuesday while traveling to work.  Decided to call the number back tonight and after asking for "William" who left a message saying I was looking online for health insurance (not true), I was put on hold several times and finally someone else answered.  When I asked him why I was being called, I am on the "Do not Call GOV" list and I was not looking for health insurance online, his only reply was "do you want me to remove your number from our call list?"  Of course, I said, but why did you call me to start with, and he promptly hung up.  I have reported this number with the gov do not call list.

LIE LIE LIE
Your company used to MegaLife. I joined as I was self-employed. The agent gave a very good sell, telling me everything yes to everything I asked. Unfortunately, it wasn't true. I paid for the insurance. 2 months later went for my yearly wellness exam and what do you know - wasn't covered. $100's of dollars later I owed everything for the visit - it doesn't include wellness. A question I asked and was told yes. Then when I tried to cancel - oh no, you have to pay a cancellation fee if you don't complete your contract. Contract? This is health insurance not a contract. I was told this, this and this. Sorry, we aren't responsible for what our representatives say, only for what is in the agreement. You should have read it VERY CAREFULLY. SCAM LIARS THIEFS

That is because there are way too many people that go online to get a quote but it is mandatory to put a phone number in the form to get the quote, so they just change the last digit to get the quote without getting the call. Unfortunately, this happens waaaay to often and the poor guy getting all the calls that didn't apply does not understand this, as most people don't that are not familiar with online marketing.

Americas Health Brokers is NOT a scam they help people get coverage that have pre exisiting conditions.
Goto their website americashealthbrokers.com and you will see they are a real company and are a member of the Better Business Bureau. I am insulin dependant and was denied by three carries and they insured me on a guarenteed issue policy and helped get me on pharmacy assistance to get my insulin for only a $18 copay. I am so greatful for what they have done for me!

Well you may work for an "honest" insurance company.  But you are incredibly naive if you think all companies work this way.  There are waaaay too many people on this and other threads that have been cold called for it all to be wrong numbers put on an application.

I am an insurance agent and I am familiar with the way marketing is done. The only way people get your info is when you apply online for health insurance. The only way you were called if you did not apply online is if someone else put the wrong phone number on the online application. Insurance Brokerages and agencies do not call out of a phonebook thats why they have your name, dob, address, email address and your health conditions on record

I just received the same call however the call was from 804-835-6931 and yes it was Frank Grayson.  Same deal as everyone else, great rate, pre-existing conditions covered. But I didn't have my card so I did not give him any information of that nature... lucky me.  I told him I would call him back he then gave me the 800-317-4701 number.  I too thought this was to good to be true.  It also struck me that I wouldn't get a broucher or anything until after I enrolled and paid.  Even if this had been a valid broker it just seemed fishy to me that he would not reference a web site or anything that I could refer to with regards to coverage so I decided to look up the company to review the specifics of the plan that he referenced.  Although the company was valid, none of the plans offered by this company matched what he was quoting. So then I looked further and searched his name and number and here I am.  Beware,
