Company is Great Escape Travel in the Denver Tech Center, Englewood CO.
Pitchman stated all we need to do to get the tickets is to attend an 1.5 hour presentation about the company.
Deal sounds too good to be true so we took a pass.

Watch out here, this is a scam. Great Escapes want to sell you stuff, no freebees here.

I got a postcard for my Birthday saying i was getting a free 3-day/2-night stay at any Marriott location plus a $30 dinner and $100 gas card PLUS a $50 visa debit card. When i called 1-800-320-1703 i got a recordning 3 times that said i was next in line and then the line went dead for like 15 minutes and no one came on there.

My husband received a birthday card from these folks, too, offering two round trip airline tickets to any major international airport in the continental US. From what I've read about the company doing these vouchers (Certs INC), they put you through the ropes to get the tickets, often voiding the vouchers for simple errors on your paperwork. I'd run away from this offer.

I'm in for a world of hurt. Got the letter, two airline tickets and $100 in gas, with United and CheapTickets logos used inside. Same WARNING on the outside. The person I spoke with said all we had to do is attend a 90-minute presentation, no obligation to buy anything, not a timeshare.
Went on to say that Great Escapes Travel Agency would be giving the presentation to introduce residents of Idaho to their travel services. That would take about five minutes or better yet, a brochure -- not 90 minutes. Major red flag (I know, there had been several before ... don't know why I fell for it). Anyway, I called back to say we would NOT be attending the meeting ... got a lot of guff about why not ... next call I will use the bankruptcy and unemployed line ... good one!

I'm glad I found this blog. I received the same envelope with the "WARNING" on the outside. Here's what the letter said verbatim:

I was curious and called the number. Fortunately, I didn't have to speak to anyone because it was after hours. I noticed that the recording didn't identify itself by not giving the name of the company and figured it was some type of scam. What legitimate company wouldn't identify themselves to let the caller know who they've reached? That's when I decided to google the 800 number that was provided in the letter.
Thanks for the heads up, guys! I'm chuckin this letter! =)

This bone head sends a government styled envelope with "WARNING" in all caps, and Postmaster please deliver between xxx dates.
The offer was a southwest airlines and Avis deal
Grand giveaway promotions or "Great escapes" Scam.
Tell them you're bankrupt and unemployed - that usually ends the conversation quickly.

This was the number on what appears to be a Continental Airlines promotion.
It is impossible to check it out with Continental
