I usually don't answer calls from "800 Service" because it seems like it's always someone trying to scam us old folks. This time I felt compelled to answer and it was a representative from the company that manages my Credit Union's online bill pay and they had been investigating a problem with my account. She was rude and blamed me for the payment being received late by my payee, but they had withdrawn the funds 3 weeks ago and then I got a late statement from my creditor. When I tried to say something, she would talk over me and not let me say what I wanted to say. There was one more bill supposedly paid on the same day and I got a late bill from that company too. At this very moment I am waiting for a call from a supervisor for the bill pay management company. Besides them not paying my bills promptly, they are doing business by calling from a number that doesn't give me a clue as to who's calling. Why would a business do that? Now that I think about it, I should be calling a manager of my credit union and not someone from the bill pay management company. They probably would just keep this problem internal and the credit union won't know that a bunch of a$$es are representing them.

You guys realize that anyone could write in this forums and tell their "experience" that this company does not represent a scam or telemarketers... just be careful, if you do not recognize this number, you are free to answer or to not answer.

Not a scam, I'm the payee for an online payment and didn't get it. This is the payment processing. Enter calling to try and clear it up.

Nope, not a fraud. Someone mailed me an online payment and I never got it- they had the persons name and it was someone who was going to look into it for me. They provided me the information, I provided them nothing. They were calling on behalf of the Credit Union and left a message.

I had a call from this number on my cell phone. They did not leave a message. I called the number back and it says "Welcome to the Payment Processing Center. If you know the number of the person you're trying to contact, please enter the seven digit extension now, followed by the pound key." I stayed on the line and the recording indicated nobody was available to take my call. The auto system asked me to leave a message, which I did not. I've received a lot of calls from a student loan collection agency (even though I'm current on my payment). I wonder if this is related, but cannot say for sure.

Not a fraud. my bank goes thru them for issues with online bill pay. they try to find out why a payment has not been posted with the person you sent the online check to. very nice lady I dealt with. she was trying to get more info on the payee so she could call them.

Definately not a fraud, it's a company that my bank and many other use for online bill pay. I thought that I had an issue with a payment and sent them a note about that, and they called me back from this number with the details, offering to have a conference call with the payee to clear things up. There was also a message with the same information when I logged into my bill pay.

My wife and I got an email claiming to be from one of our store credit cards saying there was a payment issue with recently sent payment from our credit union. The email asked us to call this number then enter an extension, 6532263 to talk to someone to get this cleared up.
This is obviously some type of fraud

Call came through as 1-800SERVICE - 800 332 4311 - Lady named Tara left msg. and stated she was with a Payment Processing Center. Left her extension of a "ticket" number to refer to when calling her back. No company name provided. Was told banks do not use "ticket" number.
Will see if she calls back.
