If indeed this number is from rogers then they aren't gonna like me or my roommate. It rings long distance and since we both have elderly parents who live long distance, it gets very annoying that rogers takes up our time with juvenial things as ringing with a long distance ring and not even having the common decency to at least have a human on the other end of the line!!! It just hangs up. If I could get another proper service provider in my area besides the little tiny companies that can't handle the work loads, I'd change in a heart beat! Bell is just as worthless as rogers is.

Just called Roger after receiving a call from this number and the person at Rogers says that they aren't conducting any phone calls or does the number show to be anything associated to there services

I Just got a call from 1-800-335-8047, It was a 3rd party marketing company for Rogers
I called back left a message to be put on their "Do Not Call List" we'll see if that happens

They call everyday... I'm pissed of...

It is Rogers, I never answer it. Never answer any calls that come in I am not sure of. No message left so never make a call back. If they leave a message I may not call the back. To much of a hassle. I do not mind these calls coming in.It is an indicator my phone is alive and working well.
Hell! what did we do before cell phones and message taking...laughs
You can add your number to the no call lists You can tell your supplier you do not want calls, but that does not matter.  

Someone calls me every morning, never answers, then disconnects.

A company is legally entitled to call ANY customer of theirs regardless of your wishes. you wanna opt out. cancel your services with them

Rogers gives you the option to OPT out and get this! It takes 31 days for this OPT out to be processed! In other words, it took them a few days after my activation to start harassing me but yet it takes them 31 days to get you off the list!

Just received the very same call. He started by asking for my PIN.  I called Rogers and all the rep said to me is what do you want me to do, with a little sarcastic laugh.  I said you may want to report it to management.  So she said she will just wright it on my account.  What a joke!!

YES, It's a good thing I have researched this phone number. I'm With Rogers for wireless product but that's about it. These telemarketers are so annoying. I hate them.

someone called me from this number at 13:00 on 31/07/13 and asked me to give my rogers pin number and personal information!!!! but I didn't.

They  keep calling me once or two time and the last one was on Monday 29/07/2013 at 12:30. I never pick up the phone

I have received 3 telephone calls on by cell  last Friday and again today but did not pick-up..

I keep getting calls from this number, and every time I pick up, there is no one there. Finally I got someone on the line today, after the 7th call and they identified themselves as being from company x on behalf of Rogers, then they started asking me to confirm my personal information, to which I replied, that I would not give out any personal information over the phone to an unknown caller. they didn't try to convince me of anything but simply said "ok, thank you for your time," and hung up.
If this is a legitimate company calling on behalf of Rogers, I don't like the fact that I have to wait 10-20 seconds after saying "hello" before anyone actually talks to me, and Rogers should know better than to have a third party calling and asking to confirm personal information. get with the program guys. I was born in the morning but it wasn't yesterday morning.

The thing is when i went on that page and clicked on the "By telemarketing" tab, there were no boxes to check off. It just says: "There are no Phone Numbers for your accounts, please contact Customer Service Representative and update your profile."

I get calls from this phone repeatedly. Thee is no message and no one responds when I answer. Very annoying!

It's easy if you have a Galaxy phone. Just go into your call settings and add the number to your auto reject list. Done!

I used *69 to ID this telephone number 800-335-8047 which had called several times in a week and as soon as we pick up the phone, they don''t say anything and then eventually hang up. What a waste of everyone's time!
