I got a call today.  My caller ID said private caller.  It was a recording from someone named Lauren saying I'd requested information on modifying my loan.  I haven't. In fact, I work in non-profit foreclosure prevention.  I pressed 1 to talk to her and the same voice did answer the call.  I asked who the company was.  All she'd tell me was that she was Lauren then she hung up.  Be careful.  Always make sure that you know who you're talking to.  Don't let these predators make a difficult situation worse.  There's free help out there if you need it.

When I answered, nobody replied.

Said it was from somebody who I called ( I didn't) give me more information on Loan modifications that I requested. No company name just the same return phone number.

How can these calls me stopped?  It was almost 11 p.m. Saturday night when we got a call from this number.

Very happy that this program worked for you but I did not request any information at any time.  I have managed to keep up with my mortgage even though we struggled a little while I was unemployed but at no time did I request information or give my name, number or address to anyone.  So No Homework Needed.  Also, sorry someone upset your sensabilities by not understanding the message that was left to them.  The girls voice is very garbled at times so you don't need to be nasty to others because you are so perfect.  Most people who put stuff out here is because of calls they have not requested solicitation on.  I like many others am sick and tired of marketing calls, people looking for others that need to pay bills but don't get it that we are not who they are looking for, etc.  We are on the DNC list and apparently that doesn't mean jack.

Also got a couple calls from this Ashley girl who did not leave a company name. Offering the HAMP program. Didn't leave a number cus I was suspicious about her not naming who she worked for. If you have worked with this Ashley, please let us know if she's on the level!

It's actually for the HAMP program. It's a government program. I reduced my mortgage to the first 31% of my gross income. Please do your homework.

Received a cal1 regarding Hand Progam Modification Loan.  My name was part of a print out of people who called regarding modification of their home loan.  Totally false.  BEWARE.  THIS IS A SCAM!  A voicemail came on saying "this is Ashley l am away from my desk, if you are calling regarding a loan modification hand program leave your name, number and additional information requested.  The voicemail does not have a name of the company.

This is a spam call from a "Loan Modification Company"....
