I received a call June 11th.  They offered to mail out some manuals which did not come with the copier.  They asked me for the copier ID number.  I told the rep. they should have that if they are calling me from Ricoh who we have a contract with.  I asked her for a telephone number so that I can verify that by calling her back.  And they are not who them claim to be.  I was given the 800-354-1000 number which is continuously busy...  BIG SCAM......

This is a scam...I just got a call from a Tom Diamond and he had the model of my copier and my address, but when I asked him to confirm the serial number he did not have it - nor did I give him the number. He also said my copier was at it's page count where a technician would come out and service the machine, but I told him it doesn't work that way. I called back and the phone number was busy.

Scary thing is, he had my name, another girls name in the office, our address, and the model number of the copier...which I guess is a new way of doing things to lure you in. Usually they call in and say service is needed on the copier and that they need the serial number, but then I just hang up. This guy sounded so legitimate others might get caught in the trap, so I wanted to share my story. DO NOT GIVE OUT THE SERIAL NUMBER OF THE COPIER!!!!

I called Cannon and they said it was a scam, and they would not call like that. These scammers are upping their game. Be aware!!!

I just had the same phone call from Gary Green. Do not tell him anything or agree to anything. He told me we had a contract. This is a scam.

Gary Green called and said my toner was on the way and I would receive a call in an hour about my delivery. This is a scam.

Scammer!

Received phone call from "Morgan" who identified himself as our Toshiba Copier Rep and, as the "Scammed" message above, said their system was down and they would be sending the tone.  I said we did not order anything but I'd check and call him back and like the message above, received only busy signals.  These are crooks and anything received from them will be refused.

They called identifying themselves as our copy machine supply vendor and claimed their system was down and apologized for not sending out our toner.  They said it would be coming out now and as a courtesy were holding the price down to $498 rather than the current price of $598 because of their tardiness.  He said his name was Gary Green and could be reached at 800-354-1000 x331.  The line is never clear and you receive a constant busy signal.  We will be refusing the shipment if it every arrives so that we are not caught in this scam!
