A Gentleman who says his name is Robert Rush has left a couple of messages saying that he needs to make an important decision about me and if I want to keep him from making a negative decision the adult in the household needs to call him back at 800-373-9458.  He states that he is not from a collection company or a telemarketer.  Who is this joker?  All my debts are current so he can't be a bill collector.  I called the number using *67 and a women answered with "Hello, how may I help you?."  No company I.D. given.  The message sounds pre-recorded.

This is a collection agency for HSBC credit card...
They are breaking the law everytime they call you, so do something about it.
I placed a cease & desit on it almost two weeks ago. and of course they've violated it.. Good for me... Bad for them.. I record the call everytime..

Received a similar call. Decided to call back using my work phone. A human answered. I said, "I think I called the wrong number. Who did I call?". The female that answered said (direct quote), "This is a number for banking... many banking facilities." I said I wasn't trying to call a bank and hung up.

call and call from morning till night...... i have told them i lost my job, like millions of other people ...i was told ''i dont care pay your debt''. well i cant right now, so i guess he'll have to keep calling. very rude guy this mr. rush is.

this # keeps calling me and leaving messages that i should call them .but when my husband answers they wont tell him any thing other then they will call back for me.so i'm a little tired of this  and what can i do to stop these calls.

I got a call from PRS with the number 800-915-1016.  He asked for the wrong party; he had the wrong name.  The caller would not ID himself but did give up "PRS" when asked for the company.  All of these people have intrusive phone ettiquette in that a genuine caller usually states their name and the company they represent before asking for the party to whom they wish to speak.  To frustrate these little irritating twits I give them a long-winded lesson on how to make a correct and professional call, all the while ignoring their repeated and ever urgent demand if I am "name here."  I do eventually inform them that I am not who they are looking for and then inform them that after the 10th attempt, I will send their company a bill for my time and a one-way contract allowing them to call me at $2 a call to train their employees.  That usually get rid of them among a few swears, etc.  Somedays I just enjoy being a pain-in-the-a** to those who really are just that.  I'm sure they'd tell you how unprofessional I am.  Okay; I'm good with that, too.

I have Verizon Wireless and they also offer a block-list for up to 5 phone numbers. Once you put the numbers in you don't want to get a call from...it stops.

Regarding giving out a work phone number, I did it ones and also got bombarded with calls at work. Since then I give out only my cell number and that's it. I can pick up or not and do not have the hassle at work.

This guys are ruthless and some people are getting problems at work because of that. Why can't they get a normal and honest job instead of working for a collection agency. Some people are really stupid. I would be ashamed harassing people because of a CC debt. It's time that those money sharks learn a lesson...these b*****ds.

I have a Venture/Santa Barbara area code in CA and got a call 2 days ago from LA. I called back and the girl said PSR and right away asked me if I am ????? (first name)? I said no and asked why did you call my number and she said that she didn't it must have been one of her co-workers. I asked her for her name and she wouldn't give it to me, so I said the don't call me again and she hung up on me. But for sure she called back yesterday and today.

Just got a call looking for Norma Perez, told them they had a wrong number and told them to take my number off their list.  Then they had the nerve to ask if my husband knew her.  Proceeded to tell them he had died.  WHEN ARE THEY PEOPLE GOING TO STOP WITH CALLS

This is a collection agency for HSBC located in N.J. They are relentless with robo calls.

have been receiving these calls for several weeks told them i would setup a arrangement to have bank account debited they wanted a processing fee i then explained i would mail payment to avoid fee they became abusive and would not agree to me mailing payment, I have setup debit payments before and companies have always gladly waived processing fee

I received a call from 18003739358, 18009151016 (ext. 31025), 18668542113 (ext.2146). The first time I received a call it was from a lady named Emily Gibson she left me a message and said she was calling from PSR and that it was very urgent that I speak with her. I called her back and heard a weird clicking sound almost like a transfer not done right or something, and then this guy named Melvin Brooks picked up and I asked for Emily, and he says oh! Emily works for me...He asked me if my name was___ and I replied yes. He then explained that he was calling on behalf of HSBC card services and wanted to negotiate a settlement amount. Now I know this type of trickery its happened to me in the past in which the last company eventually stopped calling me because I asked a lot of questions regarding the company that they just couldn't answer. So anyways, I proceeded flip the script and said "what exactly does PSR stand for?" Melvin said: Professional Recovery Services, I asked where are you based? Melvin said: New Jersey and Nevada, are you familiar? I replied "yes". I then told Melvin that I would do some background checking and would call him back, he sounded a bit hesitant at first but then proceeded to go along with it. The message that "Emily" left was very unprofessional she wasn't clear about why she was calling, and Melvind sounded just as unprofessional  as her! Another then PSR only has one location: New Jersey their is no listing in Nevada at all!! I will be calling HSBC soon to confirm or deny this ridiculous company very soon, I hope this has been of some help, I encourage everyone to do there research because with the unemployment rate at any all time high people are getting very clever out here..

These jokers are actually called "Professional Recovery Services Inc." and they are located out of New Jersey. I have recieved a couple of calls from them in the past 2 weeks. They are a collection company for HSBC bank , I have been laid off of work for a while and told them that,they say that they can offer me a settlement but I have to give them my checking info and agree to them taking 2 payments out of my account. I told them I would do the settlement but would only send them in money orders and of course they tell me that is not how they work. I have been receiving one to two calls from this number per week. They never ask to speak to me or my husband, they just leave the same message everyone else has been receiving... we have been asked to make a decision regarding you.... we want your side of the story...not a collection or sales call, etc. Like everyone else, I never call them back. Has anyone had anything negative happen or anything result of these calls like the messages state? The number they say to call back is 1-800-373-9358 and to ask for John Regal. My caller id number shows a different number each time they call, however.

The calls didn't start until I had my number changed. They never ask for any one person. Which I have always found odd, b/c why not ask for the person you are calling, I refuse to call them back since they don't ask for anyone. I have been getting all kinds of these different calls, and it can't be for us b/c we've only had this number for about a week.

IDk My boyfriend called me at work to tell me of this msg. he gave me the number and i have been trying to call them but cannot seem to get anyone.

Phone rings.  Recorded message identifying caller as Robert Rush, every day for about 2 weeks.  Then a gentler-voiced male caller, once.  I report these calls on the "Donotcall.gov site each time they accur.  No calls last weekend.  Calls resumed on Monday.  On Wed. call came, recording asked that we hold on for an important message: a living voice named Candace Silver asked to speak to someone who does not live here.  When I told her the number was wrong, she wanted to know how long we had had this number.  I asked her to remove the number from her call list, because we'd been getting calls for three weeks.  She told me not to yell at her, which I was not, and hung up the phone.

I aslo keep getting this call.  It scared the daylights out of me.  I called back and it went to a voice mail with some lady.  It was the same man voice as you all had though.

I also received calls from them.They call at least 3 times a day and they leave really scary messages. I called my friend who is working for a credit counselling firm and he gave them a call and he told me that they cannot even find my name in their system so he told them to remove me from the list of which they said they did but up to now the guy is still calling.
