karen,
you are a joke and soon will find you have no room in this business. not only you but also the owner of nexiem. you company gives collection offices a bad name in an industry already trying enough. this company is also a debt broker. they sell and buy consumer debt to third party collection agencies. that is comp-letely legal however i recently wired them $10,000 us dollars for US Bank overdraft accounts. come to find out all these accounts are either already paid off or in bankruptcy. mistakes happen so when we gave this company and karen bain an opportunity to make this right they avoided all communication. we then contacted many governing authorities and they have since opened up an investigation against this company. we are pursuing criminal action against them for fraud. please if you are a consumer attempting to clean up your credit or in the business yourself, do not do business with this company.

Folks, if the statute of limitations for your state http://www.fair-debt-collection.com/SOL-by-State.html has expired on your debt, don't pay.
Note that the statute does NOT forbid collectors from trying to collect expired debt, it just says you don't have to pay it.
Also NEVER admit verbally or in writing that you owe expired debt because doing so can bring it back to life and you will really have to pay it then.

I almost feel bad. Tyesha looks like she's a good person. She's in Human Resources, so probably not a target for illegal action prosecution. Tyesha? Are you aware of the illegal actions your company takes?

Add Tyesha Dean in as responsible for Nexiem Solutions and John Hall 800-385-1239 ext 103. This Mark Hall guy is unreal... he was noted as associated with Nexiem in some capacity, but note John Hall name. Mark Hall is associating himself with Victory Recovery Services in Buford, GA, but it looks like owner Mark Davis fills every role from CEO/CFO to Secretary. Whatever... these names and crimes will all be sorted out and dealt with. Just giving those of you suffering from harassment information to work with.

Hi Karen, I am impressed with your grammar. (Sarcasm) At any rate, it seems that your company is a source leading to the various fraudulent companies/individuals passing around incorrect debt information.  We are tired of the harassment. It seems many legitimate debt collection companies are tired of doing business with you as well. I am done with letting you gey away with it. I have information tying you to Epstein, Roth & Associates of Orlando, FL... fake Eric Roth, actual Sandra Lizbeth Veliz and Francisco A. Veliz Jr. Karen Baine, Crystal Condry, and Junior Roberts from Nexiem Solutions in Decatur, GA. Mark Walls noted as a possible alias or accomplice. Be oh so in love with your job for committing crimes and stealing money from innocent people. Collecting debts that were paid off previously or never owed is NOT doing anyone a favor. Posing as law enforcement, government agencies, attorneys,  orusing threats of legal actions that aren't actually happening... not acceptable.  I will pursue your company and any associates involved to ensure that the law comes down on you. You've been mistaken in continuing to harass me regardless of the numerous times I've let you know that you're associated with the fraud. I don't need any creepy warnings of luck. I have God, righteousness and the law on my side.

My namae is Karen Baine and I work for Nexiem Solutions and Associates no I do not own the company . And yes this Company is very real and licensed you can check with the Ga Attornry General Office. Also all accounts that we purchase letters are sent out advising the cosumer that their accounts has been placed in our office and our intion on recovering the debt.
When a consumer becomes severely delinquent on a debt (often at the point of six months without payment), the creditor may declare the debt to be a charge-off. It will then be listed as such on the debtor's credit bureau reports (Equifax lists "R9" in the "Status" column.) It is one of the worst possible items to have on your file. The item will include relevant dates, and the amount of the bad debt.
It is then left up to the cosumer to clear this item of their credit report within the statue of limatations in their state.
I take my work very serious and I enjoy my job , I like the fact that I can help people fix their credit by paying a percentage of the original loan amount. To allow them to buy a house, car,or get a loan . WORD OF ADVICE JUST BECAUSE A DEBT IS CHARGED-OFF THAT DOES NOT MEAN THAT YOU DO NOT  HAVE A LEGAL LIABILITY TO PAY BACK THE DEBT

Take a look at this site. Is this the Karen Baine person? Does anybody know if this company is real? She threatened to send derogatory information to my credit report, but I refuse to pay them as I did not take a payday loan out.  They are refusing to even provide me with any info on the supposed loan application.

Everyone please note the comments section.  This is company not only is buying "charged off debts" but also trying to re-sell everyone's private info (see where it says "loaded with contact information").  Folks, "charged-off" means the company wrote it off & it is no longer valid for collection.  Plus, (and here is the biggie), google CASHNET SCAMS and just look at the tons of complaints and scammed that were perpetuated by this bogus company!  Unbelievable.

Thank you.

I received a call from this company too.  They also sent a barrage of emails.  None of the emails had a company name, logo or anything.  When I questioned who they were, they emailed that a "claim" had been filed against me, that the last four of my social was XXXX, and the address they had on file was XXXX St., blah, blah, blah.

Now here is where it gets interesting:  The info they are saying they have on me is from 18 years ago!  Plus, 4 years ago I had an identity theft issue, and the thieves were attempting to use all of my old information, address, etc too.  Moreover, the thieves "altered" my first name in their attempt.  Now this company is calling me and emailing me using the same incorrect first name, just like the identity thieves.  So immediately, there is a red flag--if this were an actual creditor, they would have my actual correct name and I find it a little too coincidental that this "Nexium" (I googled the number) happens to have the same information as the identity thieves.

More interesting stuff:  I have asked for documentation 3 times, and still haven't received anything.  None of their email communications have a company name, logo or anything but a personal name and phone number.  I called back to the 800 number, and their automated answer system says to dial the extension of the "legal representative" you are trying to reach.  I dialed 0 and asked the gal that answered if they are a "law firm".  She mumbled for a bit, and then finally said no.  So I said, "but you have lawyers or paralegals working there?"  She again stuttered and then said no.  So I asked why they are addressing themselves as legal representatives when they are not, and are they aware that is illegal under FDCPA law?  I got a long silence, and then she hung up on me.

I had filed police reports and credit alerts back when I had gone through the identity theft thing, but now I am thinking maybe I missed something?  This may be an actual legit debt purchaser who does not know about the identity theft and got sold a bogus "debt", but even if they are they are really testing their limits by breaking multiple laws under the FDCPA.  I myself will not give them anything without documentation provided to me.  If I receive documentation and it is connected with the identity theft, I will be sending them copies of the police reports filed.

I strongly suggest anyone else dealing with them do not give them anything without documentation.  A lot of these "debt purchasers" buy what is known as "junk debts" for pennies on the dollar.  The reason they are so cheap is because they do not have the required documentation to prove an actual debt, so the only way to make money on them is to "scare" people into paying without proper documentation.

For more VERY useful information, check out Bud Hibbs website that tracks all the latest scams, bogus bill collectors, help on what to do, and information about your legal rights under the FDCPA:  http://www.budhibbs.com/bh/index.php/General/

Got a call from this number yesterday at about 8:00 pm cst, lady said her name was Karen Bain looked up the number online and found it says Nexiem Solutions and Associates. Also found tons of stuff regarding them buying/selling payday loan files. I have been dealing with an issue since 2006 with an internet payday loan i paid off by auto bank draft but after my bank account was closed this all started so they were obviously just going to keep draining my acct. I have had numerous companines call me about this issue so im assuming what they do when they dont get a response after so long they just sell it to someone else. They all make threats of charging you with fraud,  wage garnishment and etc. I have just stopped talking to them at this point. This company however does seem to have a little more legit advertising, they actually have a website but still in looking over the website Karen Bain is supposedly the owner of the company so i highly doubt they would be calling directly if this was a large business...This number also pulled up a Christian Help line so i guess its pretty simple to buy 800 numbers too.
