This is a legitimate number. I called and they took care of my loan issue. They have recently bought Snata Barbara Bank and Trust and they are based in San Diego.

I received a call from someone who identified himself as Erik.  He asked that I email him my loan information so that he could "discuss" my loan.  Foolishly, I sent him my loan number to his "personal" email, which he gave me which he said was EricA@unionbank.com

Thanks for the info, I told them I wouldn't give them info since they had called me, but then checked my acct and I had forgotten to pay my loan payment. If she had only mentioned my loan all would have been fine, and I would have checked that first instead of searching the number here. : )

They "Union Bank" have called me a few times.  Can't give you any details about why they are calling, you must first give them details such as the last four of your social security number and other sensitive information.  

I actually chatted with a real Union Bank agent and he said this not how Union Bank makes calls.  

This has got to be spam.

Things change over 15 yrs. Its Union Bank.

That number is not a scam. If you guys call the number back you will find out that it is actually someone calling from the bank regarding a loan payment.

I have been with UBOC over 15 years.  This is not their MO at all.  When UBOC calls me it's always a person, and ether from the fraud monitoring depatrment or a local branch.  I've emailed abuse@unionbank.com, and contacted their 238-4486 number to report a phishing scam.

unknow call from this number, saying it is call from the Union Bank call center,  asking for my SSN last 4, address, DOB, and account number, before discussion of my account. then i call the 1-800 number on my Union Bank ATM card, the customer rep. said that Union Bank will not call customers, unless they have mailed u a letter advance. Must be fraud.

They just called and no voice. Cal back and was Union Bank, gave my phone number and waited for 10 minutes to be transferred, but never got through.

Caller left message indicating Union Bank at risk homeowners division.  When you call in order to proceed system asks for your loan number or phone number then transfers you to busy line  made 32 attempts and when thru process each time and had same result
