a call back gets voice message they are a fundraiser for the york regional police

Got a call at my home in Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada -- no message.

I want to know who is calling

I got the same call, he said he is from York Regional Police Association. I think he is a scammer.

call to the office every day, and would like to speak to the owner. told them the owner is n/a, and then they request the owner's name. told them we couldn't release the information... they call everyday, and i have to repeat myself with the same conversation... very annoying!

They are calling 2-3 times daily!!! It's sickening!!!
Is there any way to stop them!?

This has to be a scam...

It's been sometime since they last called and now asking for money all over again.  Checked other sites and there are multiple complaints about this caller.  Don't trust them and suspect there is something odd about them.   Better not to answer and suspect some type of fraud or scam.

This guy has called me several times, pushing me to donate $50 or $100.
He is saying he is from york region police. How could I beleive him? Would you give him your credit card number? I asked him if he can give me phone# so I can call him back. He said that they don't have a customer service who can answer the phone!!!!! Do I need to report this to police? I don't know.

he called and tole me hes the york region police.. he knew my family name and asked me to donate $50.... i said im not intrested and told him to take me off the contact list, he just kept asking if i want to donate or not. the background was very noisy

I forgot to add in my last remark, I blocked my number then called this number. It was a recorded message stating I was calling the York Region Police Dept. and that calling me was the best way to connect with what they had planned for their money raising for this year. Oh right.. and I have a body like Barbie!!

I got a call from this number to my office in Richmond Hill, Ontario. Unfortunately, they got my answering machine.. The guy didn't say anything, but in the message, I could hear one man tell another "HANG UP, HANG UP, WE WILL CALL BACK LATER..HANG UP!" That was it, never called back

Callers from this number identify themselves as from the "Police association".  When pushed for information, they do not give specifics, saying "you, know, the association"  Wanted a donation for some fundraiser.

It is the Association of Police Chiefs of Ontario. They are asking for donations. Very pushy.

I was called several times recently from this number. No one is speaking when I pick up.

I answered this call from 1-800-419-4013 the guy says he is calling from Police and asks for my last name and says Thanks and he hung up.
