They usually call and tell me there are problems with lines on my account and I need to contact them immediately. I did once, and all they were trying to do is get me to upgrade any line I have that wasn't under contract. They had all the information so I think it was legit, but they leave the shady message making it sound like it's an emergency. Don't bother returning the call.

Just got a call from these people.  They asked to speak with my CEO or whomever was handling our AT&T account. I asked "what for?"

He said, "Well, I handle the equipment side of your account and whenever I see new equipment being ordered, it's my job to call and make sure everything is going as it should."

I said, "We haven't ordered any equipment."

*silence* ....  "Okay ma'am, you have a good day!"

Yeah...you too, scammer.

SCAM or not, these guys are IDIOTS.  They keep calling me looking for the former CEO of the company I used to work for.  EVERY SINGLE TIME, I tell them this is not the right number and they "make a note of it"

I blocked them, but just saw a blocked voicemail on my phone.  Sure enough, these knuckleheads looking for the former CEO of my former company.  (Three years ago, btw)

Would you trust a company so inept?

Our company has a live person contact at our local AT&T office and we were instructed NOT to talk to any of these 800 SCAMMERS!  Oh, and calling 10 times a day doesn't look legit- that's harassment.

These guys are the worst.  The keep calling for a company I NO LONGER WORK FOR.  I've explained this calmly and not so calmly to them.  Each time they say they'll make note of it.  Then a few weeks or months later, I receive another call.

Until today that is.  Thankfully the new iOS software FINALLLY has a block feature.  I won't be hearing from them any time soon.

They call my company at least once a month. I finally decided to take the call. The lady I spoke with was familiar with my wireless account. I was a little iffy so I jotted down her info and said I would call back. I immediately dialed 611 from my at&t cell and spoke with a representative who looked into the info and informed me that they are contractors for at&t and I have nothing to worry about. Contractors or not, they are legit. Pleased to say it's not a scam. You don't need to believe me. You can call at&t directly and find out for yourself.

I just received a called from them.  They have all the information from my account; my name, my plan, how many users.  He wanted to know how was the service and If I was up to date with AT&T products. I hung up then I called back to the number and it went to an "AT&T"  answering protocol, then a "CSR" answer the phone. I think he wanted to sell me phones.
I told him everything was good and I didn't need any assistance.
I can't really tell if ti was real or not...

I got a message to call this # for our company, saying he would like to discuss our plan with us.  Since I deal with a local AT&T rep directly I was somewhat curious, good thing I checked here.  I won't be returning the call from Ben Johnson.

I fell for this BS, Representative told me they were my new account contact. A month later I ordered a new phone for a new employee, first of all, did not get promised discount, then they refused to return my calls regarding the incorrect payment. I contacted my AT&T representative (the one Justin Schultz said he replaced) and found out they were not AT&T employees, but a third party distributor. Needless to say, this has caused much grief for me and our accounting party.

Male asking (He said my first and last name); I asked what it was regarding, they said "I'm calling from AT&T mobility" I asked them "what does that mean, AT&T mobility?" They put me on hold and I hung up.

This number calls me at least once per month.  It is a prank call or someone trying to obtain personal information.  Be careful.  In the past they have said the phone account is "due immediately", and have asked for a credit card number!  Bogus.

I received a call from this number from a rep offering me her service as a convenience. I think it?s great! I no longer have to wait on hold for someone to answer in customer service because I can just call or email my rep directly. I have never been more satisfied with my service and it has truly changed they way I do my business. I receive the 8% discount with all the perks such as waived activation and upgrade fees and do not pay overnight shipping. Working with AT&T has never been easier. Next time you get a call answer it! I guarantee you will not be let down. Even if they are third party, who cares! Contractors or not they have the ability to access your account and make changes as well as do bill reviews to help you save. I bought me an iPad with my savings and I?m a very happy customer. Thank you AT&T for offering the discount along with dedicated representatives who are willing to help you out.
