I receive the same mail, it looks like from the gov't. but actually from
Mesa Law Group, 3151 Airway Ave, Suite P-1, Costa Mesa, CA 92626
I can't call that scam, but new bait to lure customer in.

I received their "offer" to reduce my mortgage in the mail. However, my intuition told me it was too good to be true. I looked their number up and found this website. A law firm!? Go figure- they probably talk people into some deal where they make an outrageously high fees.
Glad I didn't fell for it.

This number allegedly belongs to Mesa Law Group, 3151 Airway Ave, Suite P-1, Costa Mesa, CA 92626. Its mail is made to look like it is coming from the government:
"COSTA MESA CA 92626
Official Business
Penalty for Private Use, $300"
They hope people would think the mail is from a governmental organization and would call the telephone number. Naturally this is a misleading.
