NO MESSAGE...SOMEONE SHOULD WRITE  A COMPUTER PROGRAM THAT IS HOOKED TO TELEPHONE LINE,PUT UNWANTED PHONE NUMBERS IN AND WILL RECOGNIZE THE NUMBER AND DISCONNECT. THE PROGRAM WRITER WOULD GE RICH......JUST A THOUGHT...PAUL

repeated robo-calls from this number to cell phone all times of day and night, tried their "opt-out" service to no availI am already on the DO NOT CALL list but they don't seem to care...

Just got a call from this number--it has shown up before but the first time in a week--doesn't show a name just a number.  No message left on voice mail.

I just got a call from this number.  Caller ID said toll-free.  I am wary of callers who do not have a name that shows on Caller ID and did not answer.

this number is for a telemarketer for some kind of alarm system, I had received a call a week ago with the operator asking if I would participate in a survey about saftey. I do a lot of online surveys and I thought that this would be just like thoes, however... it wasn't... sure there were questions about "do you have a fire alarm in your home, if so, how many... do you have co2 alarms?" etc... at the end of the survey *about 5 minutes* he said that since I took the survey that I would be entered into a drawing that "if selected" I would receive an alarm service installed free of charge!... when he called today *July 15, 2008* he said... Congratulations! you've been selected *big surprise!!* right away I said, I have NO money AT ALL and can't pay for ANY OF THE PROGRAM YOU ARE GOING TO PUSH... he continued by saying OH you don't have to pay anything at all.... for the installation, the system... THE ONLY THING YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY....... at wich point I said, Oh ok I CAN'T PAY ANYTHING!! this call is over! good bye! and with him continuing on in the background I hung up!

I called it back and option 3 was to REMOVE my number from future Tracfone calls and promotions . I was asked to add my number push pound if it was added correctly and it hung up . If it does not work I will post again .]I got calls from 2 different trac fone numbers ...

Received a call from this number this morning on my magicJack phone. :-)
It is from Tracfone and they did not leave a message. I called the number and was offered to opt out of future calls. I did...we'll see what happens.

next time I will activate tracphone from a pay phone
and tell them I have no other phone.

Have never done business with TracFone.

This number is TracPhone.  I suspect that some people (likely up to no good) give (you should pardon the pun) phony land line numbers when they activate their TracPhones.  If they happen to pick yours, you get these annoying calls.

Calls come several times a day. I let the calls go to my answering machine and they do not leave a message. When I get a call that does not show the person calling, I will not answer. I will never answer.

Yes, tracphone is still calling from 800.470.0857. They are an annoyance but as was mentioned earlier if you do business with them the Do Not Call List doesn't apply.

I entered in a 200 minute card, and 2 days later I got this call from Tracfone about entering in another card and getting bonus minutes on that.  Irony?  Probably.  They called my house #, so I'm happy they didn't waste my minutes!

I too am on the do not call list.  I see from one of the other posters that there is a number to call.  I will be doing that for sure.

the tracfone rep called my house two nights in a row.. the first night I told her,, (or tried to she didnt speak good english).. that I haven't used that service in three years,, and she kept asking over and over who the tracfone customer was in the household.. I told them to stop calling me, she said ok,and I hung up on them..
The next night the SAME woman called!! asked me the same questions.
Can't these people listen???  They've called a total of 10 times in the past two weeks!!

I received a call with a promotion. I think this is a scam to get credit card info.  I phoned tracfone at 1-800-867-7183 they said the other number was not one they use.

Called my home phone on 01/11/08 at 11:22 a.m. but left no voice mail message.

Tracfone calls my house about once per week to tell me about their latest offer. A former roommate used my home phone as the account contact information, so that's what started this. I called the same number back 800-470-0857 and they have an option on their menu to "opt out of future marketing calls". I entered my home number, and hope that they will stop.

I do have a tracfone. I like it, as it serves MY purposes. BUT, I do NOT care for them calling me from time to time, to tell me to "get this promotion" or get that promotion. I will buy what I want/need/ WHEN I want/need it, and nothing more. I am a senior citizen on a fixed income. I hope they don't call my tracfone & leave voice mails, as I won't waste units to check my voice mails, lol. I guess this is all I have to say. Thank you.

I also got a call a couple days ago from this number saying my minutes had expired, but they don't until 3/2.

I'd be VERY suspicious of this number. The TracFone itself tells you when your minutes will expire, and how many you have left, every time you turn it on!

It is Tracfone calling with special offers.
