Recorded message from Bank of the West. Called the number on my debit card and it was, in fact, a message from them regarding a purchase. I inquired as to why the caller ID doesn't identify them as Bank of the West and was told that the automated messages are "outsourced" to a call center. I suggested that this was not wise as many people are not going to answer or may block such unidentified calls. "Yea, we know" was the response. Oh well.

Bank of the west. I have never banked here and with this annoyance I never will. I can't do anything about it since I don't have an account number. So the people that had this phone number before owe money and I get the calls. This is retarded.
