I had the same call from Chris with the same message.
FRAUD PERSON !!!!! DO NOT ANSWER!!!

i had the same call from "Christopher" on 2/23/09. i called the number and asked to have my number removed and they said "sure" and hang up the phone. I'm going to report this number as a harassing call to my attorney general's office.

I too had a phone call from "Christopher" with Client Control Group and stated that this was his last attempt to "legally" reduce my credit card debt to $0. WHAT IN THE HECK??? He called my WORK???? He's a scammer dude.

I just got a call from 1-800-489-1631 named Christopher, who said this is the last time he was going to be able to legally reduce my credit debt, and that I needed to call him immediately if he was going to help me.

I forgot to say that the name of the company was the Client Control Group, and I looked it up online, and couldn't find a company with that name. Must be a scammer.

same crap....on do not call list....legally going to reduce my debt....last chance...called him back...he sounded like a real dumd a**....anybody who deals with this a** deserves what he gets...one of the dumbest telemarketers I have ever heard...even stayed on phone to really get cussed out.

Everyday I get a call saying this is the last time! Well four days in a row is more than enough time to know that I am not interested!! Stop calling me!! I called and asked to have my number removed and delt with very nasty people!

Anyone know what this 800-489-1631 number is?

Got call from "Christopher" at Ontrak Service today, 2-20-09, telling us this is our last chance to settle credit card debt if we call this number.  

YEAH RIGHT .. we don't have any credit card debt!!!

Ah, Christopher from Client Control Group just called and left me a voicemail with the exact same spiel. Caller ID shows he called from "Tech Support" at 702-520-1181. Very interesting. Wonder if that is a legal business....hmmm. The 800 number he left to call back is of course the same.

I was left a voicemail on my work number.  It was essentially the same spiel as was reported by others:
"Hi, this is Christopher from the Client Control Group.  This is your last chance to legally reduce your credit card payments to zero. Call 1-800-489-1631..."
 He has called before and I did file a complaint with https://www.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx.  I guess I'll do that again.

I RECEIVED A CALL FROM A CHRISTOPHER AT 1-800-489-1631 INDICATING THIS IS HIS LAST ATTEMPT TO CALL ME TO LOWER MY CREDIT CARD RATE TO ZERO SO CALL HIM TODAY -  ANYONE CAN BUY A 1-800 NUMBER THEY DO THIS TO MAKE IT SOUND LEGAL - THIS IS A SCAM - SO WATCH OUT - I HAVE A TRICK FOR THEM I PUT THEIR NUMBER IN MY COMPUTER AND 99 OUT OF 100 COME UP AS SCAMMER

I just got back from lunch on 03/05/09 at 12:42 and received a message from Christopher with Client Control Group. He stated that this was his last attempt to help me "legally" reduce credit card debt to $0. With that said, I started thinking, "Who in the heck is Christopher and how did he get my WORK number?" This guy is weird and I would NOT call him back or give him any personal information what-so-ever! SCAMMER.

I called back at around 10:30PM PST, the call sounded like it was connected but there was only air noise on the other end, so I hang up.

A partial automated telepnone message was on our bussiess voicameil. I work for the Ameican Cancer Society and we keep getting calls from Chrisotpher who ever he is. We have sevaral numbers so reporting our number will not put a stop to these automated number. We see to never be able to here the begining of the message, only the end where Christoher is leaving his number and name. This is really stupid! We are a business!  We don't have time to deal with silly companies who are trying to get new clients to dupe them out of their money...

Christopher called me from 800-489-1631, said he was from the Client Control Group and this was the last attempt to reduce my mortgage payment and I have to call back immediately. When I called back, I got no answer.  I've been getting similar calls from this number for several weeks.  

Whatever company provides this 800 number to this guy needs to shut it off or be reprimanded in some way.

So I called and got a hold of someone, asked to speak to the supervisor, and that guy hung up on me too!!!!!

Christopher called my place of business and left a message while I was in restroom. Call was about Client Control Group and last attempt to reduce something to zero. So I wanted to call him back and tell him that this is a place of business, that I think he had the wrong number. this was convo...

Him:Christopher (something else)
Me:Hi this is a place of...
Him: hung up on me

I Called back:hung up on me
Called again: hung up on me

If this is a true place of business, why would he hang up on me?!?!?
