They call me as well, no message. I answered once but no one ever talked to me. I am in southern Alberta as well.

hello i am located in toronto canada and for the past
4 months have been getting repeated calls from the following number.
I purchsed call display and find it strange that '1' for long distanceshows up on the local
416 number which i reside in.

These are the numbers that have been calling me repeatedly and either hanging up or fronting themselfs as
ROGERS cable, or some type of Windows/Doors company:

I have searched all these numbers and found all these phone nubmers are reportedly doing
the same thing to other people on the internet.

Research has indicated that there is some type of call center that calls people (such as us)
and once you pick up someone at their centre also picks up and trys to get some info or is
actually hired to sell a product /service. They seem to be doing  a poor job as many times
they hang up or dont speak, or get confused and just laugh then hangup.

This business/es need to be identified so that they can be stoped. I have gotten up to 6 calls a day
totalling 20-30 a week at random times of the day and evening. I've seen many posts on the internet
with people complaining and reporting online of this harassment but have yet to see anything done

WHATS THE NEXT STEP??

They have called when I wasn't home, and have not left a message. I am in southern Alberta, Canada.

Get telephone provider to call on your behalf. It's documented then. When they keep calling after being told, 30-31 days later, they are subject to fines...
Ask to be removed from ALL affilated company's.

I have tried to get them to remove me from their list to no avail.
WE need to talk to them and give them false information.  False names and credit information.  Do that a couple of times, and I bet they won't be calling back.

Steven Gross was the caller called back 3 times in one night.
Won't take no for an answer. Wanted the numbers off the back of my credit card. Right there I knew it was a scam. Your bank knows the numbers on your credit card.

I live in BC, I kept getting these calls until I had enough and tried to get back in contact with them. Like others have posted its next to imposable to get a live person on the phone and when you do the are rude and or hang up on you. I tried calling "1-866-916-2146" and i did talk to some lady who also said "Everyone was out to lunch" and when i inquired more about why it was so difficult to get a hold of someone to remove my number from the list she just hung up on me. Now this is the third time someone has hung up on me so when i called back again i wasnt nice by any means. The first 2 times i called that number i got a automatic message that gave me a prompt to talk to a operator. The third time (Right after i called and said some nasty stuff) It just kept ringing and no automatic message came up. At this point i was pretty steaming and wanted some personal justice even if it is just me calling them over and over to swear at them, Which i couldn't do anymore because they stopped answering. So i did a little more investigating and off their site I found this contact info.

Now this ## seems to be a direct line into their office. I got a hold of a supervisor and tore him a new one (This is about 6 mins after I talked to the lady who said everyone was out to lunch and i could clearly hear other telemarketing conversations going on in the back ground). He tryed to tell me they were not affiliated " 1-877-891-1348 " Number even though its the same company name at the same address.

So I really dont know if they will actually take my number off their calling list, But at least now if they dont.....I know exactly who im going to call.

they have been calling also first few times i pressed #1 someone answered then hung up on me today called again showed all 0 on call display guy answered foreign said was offering me a lower interest rate on behalf of my credit cards hmmm visa and mastercard and asked me what all my balances were said i could go to there webpage to verify they were on the up and up did so and my norton said there website security was invalid and was fraudulent he said must be because i had antivirus and something about flashcards i said still wouldnt give him those numbers line went fuzzy static and i hung up

I also posted on the thread for 1-800-943-3250... I got sucked in and gave them (MCS) all my info yesterday.  They promised to get a minimum of $2500 back from my CC companies and lower all my interest rates for life to no highter than 6.9% ... for a fee of $690 ... I fell for it... checked online today and found this site.  Called all my cards and canceled them.  Called MCS and got through only to be told they were all going for lunch and would call me back in an hour.  I called them back and they tried to convince me to stay on program.  I said I would like my transaction canceled and a refund issued.  The guy said it would show up on my Visa statement in 10-12 days.  I'll be watching!!!

received a call December 3 at 12:11pm EST. didnt know what the call was for because we didnt pick up the phone.

I continually get calls from this number.  Today they reached an all time low as I have been trying to get them to stop calling my children's line as they yelled so hard at my daughter that it made her cry.  As with the other reports, the mail box to the 1-800-493-1304 number is full.  I did try 1-800-943-3250 x786  and IT WORKS sort of.  I get their answering service who is the rudest person on this earth.  When I asked to talk to a supervisor first she told me they were all gone for lunch(though it was no where near what would typically be lunch time).  Then when I insisted she put me on hold, came back and pretended to be someone else.  Amazingly rude attitude so I treated her the same way she was treating me.   She told me she did not have to deal with me and hung up.  Call 1-800-943-3250 x786  as at least you get a live body and I suspect it is actually MCS not an answering service.

Rec'd call from this # today.  I didn't answer of course.  I called it back and got "The mailbox for MCS is full.  To enter another number press 1, to disconnect press 2".  That's it.

Look like you might be right.  I phoned 866-912-2146 and a helpful person too the 800-493-1304 number that called me and my home phone number and said that I would be taken off of the calling list.  Hopefully it works!

Got 2 calls from these guys.
They are now blacklisted on my 'do not call' list.

These bozos have called my house 6 times a day for the last 14 days. I have called them back, their phones are never on. They forward you to voice mail, which is full. At first they were asking for someone who does not live at my address. The person has the same last name and they are trying to collect from them. They are not offering anything they are wanting something. The guy who calls is ill educated and shouts that I am hiding this person from them and that I should pay their debt. I asked to speak to his manager and he said he was the owner of the company. This is the most unproffesional outfit there is.

Have received numerous repeated calls from these idiots...asked to be removed from their call list to no avail. Have informed them I will be billing them monthly for my time answering their calls, at $100.00 per call. This gives me legal recourse to collect owed monies in the event they are ever located and convicted for telemarketing fraud. In the meantime, will be having a call trace initiated and reported to police.

I get about 3 to 5 calls a week from this number. I am so tired of running to get the phone, thinking it's my daughter who's away at college in another city. I'm annoyed that the only way to avoid these calls is to get call display. I'm annoyed that Canada will not pass this damned DO NOT CALL bill like the US has finally done. I'm annoyed that people are so desperate they will work in that type of industry. Can you believe they've trained entire call centres in all different parts of the world for this? OMG. What a world we live in, LOL. I have to say, though, I DO love hitting 1 and getting into a nice aggravating chat with them. Love saying "pardon?" repeatedly when I don't understand what they're saying. Uses up a lot of time on their call stats, hopefully.  They hang up because they KNOW that it's going to look bad on them.

800-493-1304 called 2:37MST NOV.16. (I'm in Alberta). Another company preying off the elderly or misinformed, and wasting the time of the rest of us. These people should be made to pay society back for all the time and money the scam from us.

The only danger in pressing random numbers is that if the call is from a Scammer whose message says "Press #X to hear or learn more about this fantastic deal or prize"etc.You may inadvertantly hit a key that will connect to another site/number with high cost per minute toll charges which are billed back to you by your local telephone company.
