I was called by someone saying he was a Warrant Enforcement that i  had a warrant for my arrest that i had to pay him my fines, I asked if i should go to the town where I received the ticket, he said NO I will take care of it, now he has my credit card information and address. He has taken a payment out, plans on taking rest out 6/17/2011. I have closed account.

I received a call from someone who identified themselves as Warrant Enforcement Division. The area code is in Dallas, TX. 800-501-6340. They were calling for my grandson who got a ticket in Fisher Co. in 2003. They claim to have a warrant for his arrest. They gave me the number to the court house in Roby, Texas but ask me not to call them that they would take care of it.  They waned me to have my grandson fax them a guilty plea and they would drop the charges.  This is clearly a collection agency and they would not send an officer from Dallas to pick my grandson up in Lubbock, TX. then, take him to Roby Texas to sit out a $200.00 fine for no more than two to three days. The cost would not be worth it.
No warrant has been issued for Fisher Co. and by signing a guilty plea and faxing it, that might open up another can of worms.
It is best to deal directly with the county where a ticket was issued. A ticket that old will most likely be dismissed.
