We received a call from this number at about 4:30pm Central time today. Strong Indian accent. Male caller said his name was Mark Anthony and he needed to speak to Mr. ---- L--- about his Discover account. I told him we do not accept solicitations and he just kept going on & I couldn't understand a word of it. I asked him for specifics without giving out sensitive info and he couldn't provide it. However he did say he's going to call back...can't wait.

CALL AND HANGS UP NEVER SAYS NOTHING.

they claimed to be from discover networks about our business accounts then confirmed all our address and phone, told me we were being confirmed and after saying date and time in half english half indian asked me to confirm i wanted some package deal they were getting me.  at first they said it was complements of discover but that was before they started recording probably.  i asked to speak to an american as i could not understand her english very well (they do that on purpose to get you to say ok to buying their package they will i'm sure bill you for). when i said that she hung up on me and spouted off some # for me to call.

i work at hairsalon, i got this call twice while im working, it was about discover. they asked our buissiness address and phonenumber to confirm. they also asked my name too. i was lazy so i just told them wrong (short) last name. and i start getting this SPAM LETER @ MY WORK using my wrong last name!! DO NOT TELL ANYTHING! NO CALL! SPAM!

Keep getting calls from this number but as soon as I answer the by the business name of our company they hang up.  We are on the DO NOT CALL registry also.  I like "Nick's" suggestion..put them on hold!  Hey, that cost them, not me.

Got a call from them 2 days in a row. I'm always very nice to them. They ask to speak to the boss..........I simply say "sure" and put them on hold.

OOOOpppppppssssssssss................I forgot to tell the boss.

Anyway, they eventually hang up and I simply forget about them.

this number will not stop calling our office!
05-13-08 several hangups, we called back and asked to be taken off the list, assured they would---but did not
05-14-08 2 more hangups, called back and left msg again that this was now our second request for do not call list removal, we are registered with do not call since 2007!
05-16-08 hang up call again called back and got voice mail. did not leave msg again, what is the point?
anybody know what we can do to stop these calls? it ties up one of our incoming call lines here at drs office

I just got a second call from 800-511-2465 in as many days and this time they were claiming to be Discover Merchant Network. Sounded just like the same woman as last time. She was Phishing for information on business accounts.

I got the same call as above from a telemarketer and all three of my phone numbers are on the Do Not Call List. The call was from 18005112465. I can normally tell when these calls are comming because they first hit my Fax machine number and almost at the same time hit my voice line. People like this and the people that keep sending spam to my Cell phone needs to spend years in jail or have their fingers cut off.

At approximately 5:10pm EST I received a telephone call from the following number 800-511-2465.  The person on the other end of the phone was female with a strong Indian accent.  She asked for a Mr. (ME).  I am female, and if you can't get that right, I am not speaking to you.  I told her I could take a message, but she didn't leave one.  On calling the caller ID number back I  got a MALE voice with a heavy accent that I couldn't identify.  He answered the phone politely "Thank you for calling Emergent (or divergent) Discount Health Plan....".  This was a telemarketing call and all of our phone numbers are listed with on the DO NOT CALL LIST!
