Call the number and they will nicely take you off the list.  I spoke to a live person and not a machince.

WHY DO UNIDENTIFIED CALLER ID'S AT 1-800-533-6825 KEEP CALLING ME EVERYDAY AND NOT LEAVE A MESSAGE. I NEVER ANSWER 1-800 NUMBERS DON' THEY GET IT? I GUESS THESE NUMBERS ARE NOT ON THE "DO NOT CALL LIST." HOW DO I GET THEM TO STOP.

I have also received numerous calls from them in the last few days. I don't pick up the phone and they do not leave a voice message. My number is also on the "Do not call list. Again, no vmail is left.

It's QVC.  I called the number because they didn't leave a message.

The stupid lady who calls from this number always leaves messages asking to speak to me.  I guess she doesn't understand what "please leave a message for... " means.  It's my answering machine stupid!!

I have been getting calls from this number EVERY DAY in the evening now for at least a couple weeks.  It is QVC trying to get you to subscribe or renew a subscription to their Insider magazine that is not worth the subscription price.  I just let my answering machine get it and they hang up without leaving a message.

My mother got a call from this number and the person on the phone said something like,  Grandma, I'm in Mexico and in trouble.  They were looking for money to be sent to her.  She deals a lot with QVC and is very dismayed over this.  She pays her QVC bill at the end of the month, so it's not a trick to get her to pay her bill or anything.  I think QVC should investigate this situation.  However, you can't post anything on their website without signing up.  No thanks, I'm not interested in joining this.  I told Mom to call QVC and atleast, and she did so.

I just got through to this # and talked to a rep at QVC....it's QVC calling to see if you want to subscribe to the QVC Insider Magazine.  If you have shopped with QVC before then that's how they have your #....not because it's been sold etc.

Like others....when I answer they hang up.  If I try to call it back the number says it cannot be completed as dialed....They've been calling me for over 3 weeks now every single day 3 and 4 times a day!  I'm on the do not call list also.

We get at least 3 or 4 phone calls a day from this number and every time we answer we get hung up on.

Its a contractor trying to sell subscriptions for QVC magazine. While they are at it they will try to sell you other magazines. Being on the "Do not call" list will not stop the calls because if you have bought anything from QVC they are exempt from the list. Its just another benefit of shopping with QVC! Enjoy!

Even if you're on the Do Not Call list, companies with whom you have done business can still call you. (Something about a "prior business relationship.") I've bought things from QVC before, so even though my number is listed on the National Do Not Call List, they can still call me. On my cell phone, I just press "Ignore" but it's still annoying.

I, too, am on the DNC list, but it hardly seems to matter any more. Anybody else getting the feeling the Do Not Call list is being totally ignored by more and more companies, figuring if they collude to ignore the law, the government can't catch them all?

Guess I spent enough to be honored to make the list of preferred customers to call. pheh

It is the insiders club for qvc...magazine with coupons and discounts, etc. for $3 a month.

If you do business with someone, that gives them the right to call you about that business, unless you have opted out with them somewhere. Simply tell them to take you off their list and they have to. 30 days I think.  

They actually have great customer service so if they keep calling after you tell them to remove you, call qvc customer support directly and complain.

Have been receiving numerous calls from 1-800-553-6825 for the past week at various times during the day.  When I started documenting the hours, they were morning, afternoon and early evening.  I am on the do not call list which obviously is not working.  This has become very annoying.  I do not answer 1-800 unless a message is received and I feel important to acknowledge.  Enough is enough.

the caller said they were from qvc and selling a montly 3.00 subscription to get 40% off merchandise.  when i chatted online with qvc, they said they didn't offer anything like that.

They call several times a day - I even picked up the phone and hung it back up - a few minutes later they called again - very irritating!

This number shows up in our caller id several times each evening but I don't answer because I searched the number on the web and it is QVC calling to sell magazines.  We have bought from QVC many times and I don't understand why they would be selling magazines.  That makes no sense to me at all with all the revenue they get from selling on TV and online!

Glad to hear from these reports that this call is from QVC (or one of their operators using this number for personal use).  Because of this uncertainty of actually who is making the call, it will not deter me from shopping at QVC (until I actually find out the "who".) It seems to me that if it was actually a legitamate call from QVC, with a new "service" they would leave a message or at least answer when you pick up.

Received way to many calls on my cell phone. I've shopped with QVC for years and this is the first time I'm getting these calls. So I started picking up but not saying anything. There's a real person on the other end, who was talking to someone else about how she's been calling all day, the phone picks up, and no one answers.

In our case, the caller doesn't speak, won't answer when asked who they are or what their business is.  Searching the 800Notes.com database shows that when people calling from this number DO speak, they self-identify as being from the telemarketing company QVC (this has never happened to me)
