Just a quick correction:  If calling back a toll free number, dialing *67 first does not hide your number from them.  This is true for all toll free numbers.

Unwanted vacation package ads are being FAXed to me periodically. The number listed in the ad is 1-(800)-563-5036. In small print under this number is printed, "If you have received this in error call toll free 1-877-865-2471 to be removed". Do you think that it would be a good idea to follow these instructions? I am suspicious. ALSO - I notice that the incoming-FAX information printed at the top of the page shows that the originating phone number is 1-831-800-7079 and the "company" title is Corp Travel Dept.

I have been receiving these ads for at least 6 months. I am annoyed because they use up my ink and paper. How can I force them to stop?

Is there some way I can find where these people live so that they may be eliminated with "extreme prejudice"? (Heh, heh, just kidding... but really. No just kidding.)

These faxes that are in violation of Federal law have started again. What I do is put in *6718005635036 and dial. The *67 prevents your calling number from showing up. I then don't say a word when they answer. They hang up. I hit redial and keep doing this. If we all do this it will tie up their phones lines as it is obvious that they don't care about the law. This phone sales group was operating out of LAS Vegas for awhile and I believe they got shutdown but are now active again.

I tried in the past to remove my number but it doesn't work as they don't care so let's drive them nuts like they do to us. Let's waste their money and time.

Received any number of faxes from 800 563 5036 promoting a vacation package which is too good to be true. By phone they relate that they are the Atlantic Beach Travel of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.  Has anyone done business with them or know anything about the com[any or this vacation promotion?

The fcc has a web site where you can complain about these faxes. I get them all of the time and I started filling out the "on line" form at the FCC web site. I hope they get to the bottom of this.

This is not a scam, it is a solicitation for a timeshare.  If you don't want to go to a timeshare presentation then this is not the package for you.  I took the package and went to the Bahamas and it was great.  I spent $1000 in total including flights, hotel, trip to and from the Bahamas, and food for a 5 day 4 night trip to the Bahamas.  The give you such a good deal because you have to go to the presentation.  The people who are complaining have never tried or were probably rude to begin with so the customer service people were rude in return.  I had no problems at all with any of the service and my information has not been used for any solicitations.  All of the trips they give you are legitimate trips, stop being so skeptical people and try to enjoy the time you have left on this earth.  Even if they do scam you, you have only lost $100 and if that breaks the bank then you should not be accepting the offer in the first place because you could not afford the trips anyway...

I received the fax from Corporate Travel Department, called them and immediately told the price per person was $750.00/adult and $99.00/child under 12 as well as $279.00/person for Cruise Port Tax. When I was finally able to get a word in, I asked the repesentative for more information on the $199.99 vacation package and she politely explained to me the package was probably sold out due to the great deal only being offered to the first 50 callers. I was placed on hold to see if there were any more available. What do you know? only two packages available for such an unbelievable price. Would I like to book my vacation? I don't think so....She stated "I didn't think you would"  CLICK. Oh how I wish I was standing before her.

Received same fax as the rest of you on Aug 20, 2010 ($99 dollar vacation pkg.), but with NEW PHONE NUMBER as 1-800-593-5362 and the remove from list number as 1-877-222-7617.

I called to try and get more information out of them. Filed a FCC complaint. According to the person I spoke with the company is "Atlantic Beach Travel" out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida since 1985. The fax just said from, "Corporate Travel Department"

A search of Florida businesses came up with a company called Atlantic Beach Travel under registration # G06089900239 filed 3/30/2006. The owners are listed as:

Derrick Dennis Fox and Rachel Dianne Fox. Not an inc. business. Address is: 1113 Hibiscus Street, Atlantic Beach, Florida 32233.

THIS APPEARS TO BE A SCAM. DO NOT GIVE ANY INFORMATION TO THESE PEOPLE OR BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM.  When it sounds too good to be true, it almost always is.

Oh, and it really isn't just $99 to the first 50 callers. It is actually $159.98 per person (with processing, taxes, etc.) PLUS Port taxes of 189.00 per person, including children. Plus, you pay airfare to Florida. Dan at ext. #208 talked with me. So on top of it being a scam, it isn't even what is advertised. I called just to get as much info. as I could for the FCC Complaint.

If you get this faxed to you it is illegal. Telemarketers CANNOT FAX YOU! Report it to the FCC at http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm

HAVE A GREAT DAY!

I got the e-mail from my boss today at work. The number on the flyer was 1-800-593-5362! I was SO excited, and I gave them my card information, however they were so unprofessional that I put them on speaker phone to record them as I was talking. I googled them and seen all of the above comments and called my bank ASAP! OMG, "If it seems to good to be true, then it is!" Thank you!

This company is part of an organized crime syndicate, of the Mexican drug cartel, whose objective is to steal your identity.

Note that they keep moving continually, each time changing their phone number and location, moving from state to state (where is the FBI).  Employees do not give out their real name, address, or fax number.  Fax number is stripped from the header of your fax, which is illegal.

Wat you can do is contact your local Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA), the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) - they have crossed state line in moving from state to state, and constantly call them back using *67-1-800-563-5036 (star 67 hides your caller ID)

I have run into this company for the last 2 years sending me illegal faxes. They resurface every 6 months even though my fax line is a do not call. File the FCC complaint on line, it is easy to do.

Meanwhile do the filing. I got them to shut down this phone number for awhile today. If we all do it they might get the point.

800-563-5036 is a company that sends out faxes to companies giving away all these great vacation offers. Problem is the vacation isn't that great of a price.

to be removed you must call 888-533-2975.

when you don't agree with what they want, they will hangup on you, and not just hang up but slam the phone down. Now that is a company I want to deal with :)

got a junk fax from corporate travel dept today, their toll free 1 800-563-5036.  asked me to call another toll free 877-865-2471 to remove from their call list.   annoying.
i already registered my phone number at donotcall.gov  but still get this.  i'm going to file complaint on this government website.

everyone may register your phone number at NATIONAL DO NOT CALL REGISTRY (donotcall.gov , you may google it if you worry this site is scam), it's a gov't site to help stop marketers from calling you.

Scam! Just received another scam Junk fax fpr $199 to Cancun or Puerto Vallarta including airfare and was given a website (www.mbtth.com). After asking several questions we were hung up on. Here are several of the Toll Free phone numbers they switch on each junk fax scam to using internet faxing services:

             (800) 563-5036
             (866) 504-1136
             (866) 704-5938
             (877) 654-9354
             (877) 331-0676
             (866) 967-2809   <- this is the junk scammers "website" at: www.mbtth.com they are using on the web.  We you call all the numbers you will see that they are being answered by the same individuals daily.

TRY THIS:  Send back the junk fax (hit redial) to each Toll Free number on the junk faxes and listen for them to pick-up.  It is really funny to hear the same person voice pick-up on the various junk fax scam toll free numbers!!!!  :)

Also, they are using a internet service to make these junk faxes from like www.ringcentral.com

FILE A COMPLAINT (it is very easy & fast) to report this junk fax scam to the FCC at:

http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm

IT IS REALLY EASY AND FAST!!!!  IF A LAWSUIT IS PLACE AGAINST THE OWNER FOR ILLEGAL JUNK FAXING, ONE MAY GET AWARDED UPTO $1,500 PER JUNK FAX (must be part of the class action lawsuit).  FILING A COMPLAINT PER EACH JUNK FAX WILL BE ON RECORD AT FCC.

Another wonderful junk fax from the folks at Corporate Travel Blah Blah.
I suggest everyone who receives one of these faxes to fax the page back to the toll free voice number. Or better yet set up your fax to broadcast to their toll free number a few times.

Sure, might as well file complaints, but these crooks have been at it for years. They don't keep the same number for long, because people program their fax machines to send the JUNK FAXES right back to the voice number. This makes them keep changing their numbers and it increases the cost of their scam. It's at least as effective as filing complaints with the government that never do anything, it's easy, and it is very satisfying.

Same bogus travel fax as everyone else here, only $99 for the first 50 callers LMAO!  Funny how I was just thinking that it's been a few weeks since we received one of these travel faxes.  I have quite the file of these faxes and these are other numbers they use:

800-495-0403
800-942-1514
800-593-5362
800-640-9891
877-865-2471
877-437-8653
877-250-2857
866-255-2853
866-545-2958
888-203-3533

Please file FCC complaints and submit your faxes.  The more pissed off people complaining to the FCC, the more likely they are to do something about this scam.

I also recieved a fax that was very similar to a fax that I recieved from a different number about a month ago. Same old scam of $99 vacations and cruises. Just as the above posts, I Googled to get more info on the offers and found several blogs for different (800) #'s involving the same scam.

I strongly suggest anyone who recieves an unexpected fax of this nature to save the fax and wait for the next one, which will come, and compare the two. They always have similar offers from the same "Corporate Travel Department" but have different phone numbers each time.
