Nope. Callers are clearly spoofing this number in their Caller ID to make it appear that calls are coming from this number. People need to be aware of that.

Yeah- I also got the call and the bill for $189.00 I never paided it because I found out they were the same title company and the name came up...VINCENT J. GALLO. I knew it was a trick because at the the time Jewett over billed me at my closing, took my money and never even paid it. Just report them to the irs, attorney generals office, the bar, and the guild of professionals on them.

I looked into it. This was a phone number for Crystal Abstract more than 15 years ago.  It hasnt been thier number for more than 15 years.

It is not comfort to me to find out that there a lot more people who got scammed by Property Tax Review Board or their affiliates. I had received these forms from PTRB in 2009, filled out and sent it back to their P.O.Box 3966 in Chatsworth, CA, along with a check of $189.00. My phone calls to (800) 581-0628 and the subsequent follow up letters did not bear any fruit. Who can help me to prosecute these criminals?

I guess I can look at this scam as a charity for a group of losers .
It would be great to see these criminals prosecuted. Is there a lawyer  working on this case that maybe could use more names to add to the list of scammed victims.

We paid them $ 189.00 and got nothing.  Can you tell me anything more about this Crystal Abstract Corp.  Do you a address for this company.  i will file a Complaint to the Attorney General Office against  this company.  We are in Highland, CA  - E=mail address is [removed]@aol.com Thank you for any assistance.The address here is P.O. Box Box 3944, Chatsworth.  I need to find out where this PO Box is.  If it's at a U.S. Post Office I can file charges against them. I did this to a company in Flordia and had the Police go close the business down.

Got a mail from this company along with another company listed as Annual Property Tax Review their numer is 800 - 832 - 9905 becareful of this company. I looked up the information and it's registered to antoehr corporation of Crystal Abstract Corporation and the voice mail is FORWARDED to another number. Becareful of these scams. Got 2 mails of the same sort in 1 day.

I called this number a few minutes ago and no answer. I let the phone ring for over 2 minutes and 5 seconds. After that length of time, it dialed as a hang up tone. I then called again at exactly 09:01 hrs typing this message, and still no answer, and hang up tone. This definately is a hoax!
