This number is associated with a company called DFD Marketing (DFDmarketing.net).  They are a company that does telemarketing for industries like cable TV, satellite TV, energy, etc.   They are based out of Warren Ohio.  They have called my number numerous times, I always leave the answering machine get it, they hang up and never leave a message.

I got a call from them yesterday and they wanted to talk to me about an over due PPL bill.  I have no over due anything and Have Met -Ed. And they asked if any of my neighbors used PPl  Stupid question as Med- Ed is the supplier in the area.

Received a phone call from this number - I did not answer - no message was left - They called in the winter time and wanted to speak to my brother in law who is dec'd.  I told them not to call anymore.  Now they are at it again.

It's a solicitation from Public Power who is a generation/supplier of electric service.  They use aggressive tactics to obtain your account# of your current supplier so they can switch you over to them.

I was just called from 800-598-5268.  they claim they could help me consolidate my electric bill and make it lower.  they wanted information from my electric bill, which I did not give them. I told them this sounds fishy and I hung up.
