Called back the number, automated call to re-enroll in gas Company care program.

They did leave a message which said it was the "gas company" about renewing a discount program.  Sounded fishy to me so I called my gas company which is Southern California Gas on their customer service line. They told me it WAS indeed a legit call, but they're using an outside vendor and robo caller to verify.  Unfortunately, the robo call doesn't sound very professional so that's why I checked it out.  The robo-call should have said the name of my gas company so as not to arouse suspicion. I then called the 800 number above and finished the verification process.

This is a legitimate call from the gas company, to verify renewal in the CARE program, which gives a 20% discount to those who qualify.

Automated recording from supposedly SoCal Gas Company regarding re enrollment in the Care program. They didn't even ask for me they ask for a Denise.

Called again today, again partial message for "Mr. or Mrs. ..." then cut off.  Returned call and since I have digital phone and voice mail # is different, robot wanted # call originally came to.  I don't understand why So Cal Gas doesn't identify themselves from the start and why they continue the robot calls when they don't get an answer.  I will be calling the gas co. Tuesday and letting them know this behavior is less than desirable and that they need to revise their approach.  What is happening now is very offputting.

Same call but at 5:42 today.  If this is the gas company, why don't they identify themselves via caller ID or in the message they start.

Robo-message cut off after "For Mr or Mrs" .  ID shows "unavailable", so I, too, am unavailable.  Will not answer unidentified calls and many which shouldn't be calling in any case.    I refuse to give up the # I have had for many years and wouldn't even know where to begin advising a change.

The number kept calling and didn't leave a message. I called the number back and it was for re-enrollment in the CARE program from the gas company. Completed the automated questions, which were not invasive and did not ask for any identifying information. Hopefully they won't call back.

The b*****ds call several times a week.  No Caller ID.  No message.  i don't answer the calls with no ID.  i am on the do not call list.  Them MOFO's!!

Calls constantly.  No Caller ID, just the phone number.  I don't answer, and they don't leave a message on the machine.

No ID, no message.  When I called the number, I got a recording saying there was a problem with my gas bill and I should call them back right away.  I don't think so.,,...
