I received a VM at work from a company called RS Legal Group and I should call them because I had a court date with them. They left me a case number. Called the number back and spoke to Mr Smith. He is pleasant. They say I owe over 900 for a credit card back from 2007 and I can pay now or they will take me to court and garnish my wages. I asked for proof of what I owe and they sent me my credit report ?

800-600-2465 is calling my cell phone, but his real number is showing up 530-827-3480 a Rex Thompson with quite the mouth in Herlong, Ca. Feel free to call him at all hours for no reason... I have never heard of the person he is trying to call and he is leaving threatening messages on my phone!!!

These ppl call me at least 3 times a week from different #s. Todays call was from 1-800-600-2465. Sometimes I call back and threaten. Usually resulting in them cursing at me or other forms of aggression. If you google the ALLEGED company RS legal Group it brings up some foreign law firm. The best part-it is my sister they are looking for. I asked them to stop calling, the man told me he won't stop because we are related. I asked how does he know we are related-he says we have the same last name. Of course I say, me, her, and a thousand other people-but I'm not related to them either so what?
When they realize you are smarter than they are-they will turn aggressive. FYI-all the signs of a debt collection SCAM. Contact your State Attorney General (http://www.myfloridalegal.com/contact) or the Federal Trade Commission www.ftc.gov. If they have your personal information (SSN, employer, bank, etc) already-contact a consumer law attorney. You should also check your credit report. If it is a scam-they could use or sell your information. BEWARE!

I just got a phone call from a man name robert butler stated that i owe 1100 from 2007 said i never had a credit card told me that it doesnt matter if i was the victim or not i still have to pay it back. Told me did i vote for obama bc he gave them a grant to cut back on matters like this and i qualified for the grant to make it 400 then he told me he worked for rs group and swithed and said rs legal group so i looked it up on the internet and seen hispanic people and not him these people are crazy as hell.....

I got a call too saying something about verifying employment. They are out their minds to think these scare tatics  really work. I was told they were trying to serve me papers and my wages would be garnished. So which is it? I filed a compliant with the federal trade commission.

it's a scam, they were calling for my ex husband to say that he will get 3 - 5 years for a non-paid debt.  I told them he is incarcerated and I would advise his lawyer to call them and asked them to stop calling me.  He said to have the lawyer tell him to stop calling.  I told him it's my ex-husband's lawyer, not mine.  He hung up on me.  I called back and got someone else and asked they remove my number from their call list.  He said we don't have call lists, I said to stop calling my number for someone who isn't here, and they hung up again.  I called back and got their machine, told them that if they didn't stop calling they would be served with papers.  They try to bully you into paying a debt, saying you will get jail time.  My ex-husband has spent 1/2 of his life in prison and said to tell them where to go, it's bull.

Called my brother in another state and said they were trying to get a hold of me to serve process on a lawsuit.  Illegal collection activity, as there is no suit filed, and threatening a lawsuit in an attempt to collect a debt is illegal.  I have no idea what the thing is in reference to and have no intention of contacting then so they can harass me, however, if they contact my brother again I will contact them with a letter explaining my knowledge of the law.  RS Group is the name of the company.

Called to verify employment.  Never called them back because I figured it was another loser debt collector using their shady tactics. Do they really think that anyone is going to send them money when they start the phone call off with a blatant lie?  Get a real job loser.

This number called my cell with an automatic message stating verifying employment information and if it haHs changed, please call the following number, with no reference to who was calling.  I called the number and the gentleman (Eric) got very upset with me, when I asked for a fax number to request that they do not contact me via mail.  He kept repeating did I intend on paying this debt and ultimately refused to give me the information.  The company is RS Group and has a history of shady collection practices.  They have also, called my sister-in-law and told her they are attempting to verify my information and that was after speaking with me previously.  BEWARE!!!!  Do NOT give them any personal information.

Got a call from this number, but no voicemail was left. When I called back, a message told me to call 1-800-387-TALK . When I call that number, it is some sort of sex line.
