Just got a solicitation call. They said they were U.S. Legal Aid, but would not give me any information about their company until I gave them info about how much in debt I am. It sounded like a boilerroom call from India.  Finally got the lady to give me a phone number, 800-632-5212.  I called it. It was answered by someone, again sounding like they were in India, who said they were with U.S. Legal Aid in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.  The original solicitation call sounded very similar to the avalanche of calls from Card Member Services.

credit card company that made it sound as if there was a problem with one of my credit cards. They didn't Identify themselves. recorded message.

wants to offer me a reduced rate.  yeah right.

This is a credit consolidation service. When I called back message said press 2 to be added to their do not call list.

sounded as if my credit card was having issues,,wanted to lower rate,, automated.

Credit card company somehow found my name and wants me to open an account.  "you may now be eligible to refinance..... bla bla bla bla"

Received 3 annoying calls and left no message

Received a call this morning from this number promising to wipe out ALL of my credit card debt.

I called back and was hung up on three times while trying to talk to a supervisor, he said they were doing nothing wrong even though I am on the do not call list as the credit card companies are unethical, he eventually hung up on me too.

Keep calling my cell and there is no answer. I pay for minutes, these calls are costing me money

Didn't answer,  they didn't leave a message.

These b*st*res are relentless ...will file a complaint w/ FTC for all its worth.

Tired of getting a call for this number and since they won't stop and only hang up when I ask who they are.  I pressed 1 to see what would happen.  I got Roger Bert which was odd becasue he was Indian and could barely speak English.  I played along with his scam which would allow me to payoff my credit cards for 5% interest, he just needed my bank account and routing number.  I happily proivded them (made up of course).  I figure I might as well waste their time since they won't quit wasting mine.

After playing along and playing dumb they were a little more forthcoming.  The company is called "Cardmember Services".

Roger's direct line is: (800) 218-8787 x4279.  Feel free to call him often and flood his line and increase their 1-800 # phone bill.  When I finally hung up on him the number he called back from was 800 219 1511.

I'll be reporting to the FTC as well as calling to say "Hi" quite frequently.

This is a company called 'Debt-Free for Life'. They act like the call is from one of your credit card accounts but "everything is fine with your account". Why did they call? To tell you how to save money with a lower-rate. Voices sound like they are calling from overseas. Very 'scammy' talk. I asked, "The message said you were calling about one of my card card accounts. Which one of my accounts are you calling about?". The man said "Mastercard, Visa, American Express...any of them.". What a racket.

I am on the do not call register and received a call from this number this evening.

I got a call on my cell from same people. I did not answer and they disconnected after 5 rings. No message, no CID.

A machine generated voice message from "Card Holder Services" advertising a way to lower you interest rates down to 6%. Asked me to press 1 to continue. I simply hung up.
