Call the cops. They are trying to steal your identity.

The call is from Onstar. I've received 3 rapid fire calls at a time, several times, but I couldn't answer any of them. I didn't renew my service when it ran out after the first year of owning my Trailblazer, so I guess this is my punishment for not continuing it! I did call back that number and from the automated greeting chose to remove from future calls. The recording said it will take up to 10 days - I can't wait! If this is how they operate, I'm glad I didn't renew!

Called 5x today, so far.

This number has been calling my phone every day for the past 2 weeks. They don't leave a message. Today they called twice within 5 minutes. I picked up the phone but didn't say a word. No one was there and it finally disconnected. ID just says 800 Service then the number 80063858.

I don't even have on-star and they keep calling. They say 10 days, but I have already done that 4 times in the last 2 months. They just keep calling.

Have had over 100 calls from these jerks in the last 90 days.  Same scenario.  No Call List my assssss!

They are just starting to call me. WTF? What can I do?

I receive a call every night around 8pm, rings 4-5 times, answering machine picks up and then they hang up. Tonight 5/2 they called earlier at 7:20pm. What is up with this, either leave a message or STOP calling.

They call my home phone at least 2 times a day. My OnStar expired and if I wanted to renew it I would have done so. I asked to have my number removed. They say it may take up to 10 days. I have a funny feeling that won't stop them.

They've been calling me for 3 mos, 2-3X per DAY. I haven't even owned a GM vehicle since 1967. Never had onstar. Never will. Never had contact with them.
So how do we get them to pay the required $20,000/call fine for violating the federal do-not-call law?

This number has called 6x's today! I am so annoyed - I am never going to answer - Thank God for caller ID! If it was important they would have left a message by now! They call every single day - I cannot remember a day they didn't call.

This is not OnStar, this is a phishing scam-they are trying to get your credit card number. They are operating from a list of OnStar equipped vehicles and if they are actually on the line when you answer, they will try to convince you that your card has expired or they'll offer to renew your service if it has lapsed. They are not OnStar, and OnStar does not ask for credit card renewal info over the phone. This number has been around for over a year and I don't understand why it hasn't been shut down yet.

Just keep calling and calling and calling.  I continue to hang up on them.. STOP calling ME!

WHY CAN'T THESE PEOPLE BE STOPPED FROM CALLING IF YOU ARE ON THE DON'T CALL LIST?  HELP!!!!

Just got a call to the house phone.  As soon they hung up on the answering machine, then my cell phone rang.  As soon as they hung up on the cell phone voice mail, then the house phone rang again.  This repeated about an hour later.

I just bought the first GM vehicle of my life in June 2008 and it is equipped with OnStar.  This is going to suck.

It kind of sucks being annoyed almost every day by this scam company. I wish I knew there home phone number. that way I could call then EVERY DAY at least 5 or 10 times, and maybe as a bonus I would call them 20 to 30 times a day on the weekends.

We are all complaining,including me. Is there anything we can do besides just ranting here? where do we start? I don't have a clue who to contact about this???? Note the clever name listed below as their caller ID name

Yeah i get sick of these phone calls too! This number shows up as Don Starr on my caller id. Too weird. Anyways, my husband just bought a 2008 silverado equipped with the on star feature a month ago. A-holes!

They keep calling trying to get me to buy a phone package for my TrailBlazer, which I don't want.

I am a Rep of OnStar. The reason you are getting these calls ladies and gentlemen is: You are in a Call Bank, The people calling you are an outsourced Center. however we do give you what your service provides with OnStar.

At least with the Bank I am in, the reason we call is to Renew Subscription with Onstar, as well as provide you Minutes with your phone. Now I'm not saying everyone of you are in the wrong. But as a person who does these calls for a living, If you have a problem with OnStar? You have a problem with ONSTAR.  

The people whom are doing these calls are JUST like you, and just trying to make a living - So the next time you're in a call with a Telemarketer and you don't want their service: Don't be an A***ole about it. Just say "i'm not interested" thank you for your time.  We're just trying to make a livin' too folks.

This number had a greeting that said "if you are so-in-so stay on the line...by staying on the line you are acknowledging that you are, and this message is for you".....so do they have some kind of feedback that reports whether you break the call or not?

I HAVE HAD SUCCESS WITH STOPPING THE ONSTAR CALLS!!!!! AFTER MANY ATTEMPTS TO HAVE MY NUMBER REMOVED I STILL RECEIVED THE DAILY CALLS. i STARTED GETTING REALLY ANGRY AND AS SOON AS I CALLED THE OPTION FOR THE DO NOT CALL LIST I ASKED TO SPEAK TO A SUPERVISOR AND WAS TRANSFERRED TO CUSTOMER CARE. I WAS TOLD TO CANCEL MY ACCOUNT AND CALLS WOULD STOP- THEY DIDNT. CALLED BACK TO FIND OUT  THEY COULDNT STOP CALLING BECAUSE OF MY CLOSED ACCOUNT. I THEN ASKED TO SPEAK TO A SUPERVISOR IN THEIR SPECIAL PROJECT UNIT AND GOT A REFERENCE NUMBER. WAS ASSURED AFTER 45 MINUTES FOR 2 DAYS IN A ROW TALKING TO SUPERVISORS IT WOULD STOP. IT DIDNT---- I GOT SUPERVISOR NAMES TO FIND OUT THEY WERE IN THE PHILIPENES! i STATRED COLLECTING NAMES AT ONSTAR, THREATNED WITH MY LAWYER AND CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT. i THEN INFORMED THE SUPERVISOR HE WAS TO CALL ME THE NEXT DAY WITH HIS ACTION PLAN ON HOW HE WAS GOING TO GET THE CALLS TO STOP OR HE WOULD BE HEARING FROM MY LAWYER. THE NEXT DAY HE DID CALL TO INFORM ME HE HAD EMAILED  THEIR OUTBOUND CALL (MARKETING DEPT) AND MY NAME HAS BEEN REMOVED FROM THEIR CALL LIST. TODAY IS DAY 4 OF NO CALLS FROM onstar!!!!! i LEARNED THAT WHEN ASKED TO BE ADDED TO NO CALL LIST- YOUR NAME IS NOT ENTERED ANYWHERE THAT YOU EVEN CALLED BECAUSE THAT DEPT IS NO WAY CONNECTED TO THE DEPT WITH THE PHONE NUMBERS. WHEN I ASKED THE SUPERVISOR TO READ MY FILE TO ME INREGARDS TO HOW MANY TIMES I CALLED THERE WERE NO NOTES! tHEY DONT CARE HOW THEY INCONVIENCE YOU-  TO STOP CALLS- ALWAYS ASK FOR A SUPERVISOR, GET THEIR NAME AND EMPLOYEE NUMBER.YOU MUST GET A REFERENCE # AND TRANSFER TO SUPERVISOR AT sPECIAL PROJECTS UNIT BEFORE THEY EVEN LOOK AT YOU.YOU WANT TO ENSURE THE SUPERVISOR CONTACTS THE OUTBOUND CALL DEPT TO REMOVE YOU NAME FROM THE CALL LIST AND GET THEM TO RETURN CALL TO VERIFY THEY DID IT- EVEN BETTER TELL THEM YOU WILL CALL A LAWYER! AND WATCH HOW FAST THE CALLS STOP!

How do you get these people to stop calling!

How can I stop getting calls from this number. This is bothersome to say the least. Please stop calling me. now !!!!!!

To file a complaint on the www.donotcall.gov our number must be on file for 31 days.  They need the date you got the call, and either the name or telephone number of the company that called you.

Call the number back, press "1" and you get an Onstar rep.

It is Onstar.  There is no one at the other end, just silence.  I have called Onstar more than 3 times to ask them to stop and they all gave me the same response..."It will take 24 hours to process"  yet I continue to receive calls from them after a week.  I finally registered my number on the National Do Not Call Registry I found on the Minnesota Attorney General's Office Web Page.  Here is a link to their site: http://www.ag.state.mn.us/Brochures/pubReducingJunkMailandTelemarketing.pdf  The Do Not Call number is 1-888-382-1222 or www.donotcall.gov
