They're in Bonner Springs today.  Got the same "Gift Notice" sticky note on my door this morning while I was home.  Automatically assumed it was a scam but wanted to know who it was so I could avoid them in the future.  Thanks for the information.

Be very careful of this company.  I used to work for them, and have no respect for them.  I consider Matt, the boss in KC, to be a habitual liar.  He talks about being a Christian, but there are other ways to screw people without going to the bedroom.  They have been the subjects of MO AG complaints, I believe regarding phone issues and I think deceptive sales practices.  I think Jay Nixon was AG when that happened.  I can only say that there is no way I would do business or work for that company again.

I got one of these notices stuck to my door today with a free water test kit.  Funny it happened on the same day as a boil water order for my area.  I think they're just trying to make a quick buck on fear.

Same story-Wife spoke to them. They offered us a free trip (to good to be true) and none of the numbers work when rescheduling.  SCAM!  But can't figure the angle-are they planning for us NOT to be home, trying to get in to scout the house while pitching the fake company?

I got a sticky note on my door too.  Says "Gift Notice, Sorry We Missed You" with a note saying to call 800-642-4942 to schedule a convenient delivery time.  I noticed that there was no company name and when I saw the same yellow note on the neighbor's door across the street, I figured it was a marketing scam.  I'm in Northeast Olathe.

I received a sticky note on my door indicating I had missed a gift delivery.  I called the number and found out it is a scam.  The number belongs to Hague Water of KC who was trying to sell a whole house water purification system.

This is a deceptive marketing practice.

Got a gift delivery slip stuck to my door like John from 6/24/09.  I'm not even going to call; it's obviously some type of scam.

I went through my cell phone and the phone number that "Aubrey" called from was 913-489-4123. I dialed it this morning and as expected, no answer and no recording. I have tried contacting Hague Water but no answer there either and my on-line submittal would not process.

I called 800-642-4942 back today because they were supposed to call me back Tuesday to confirm a home visit in regards to a water softener demonstration through a raffle I had entered. Oddly, no one called abck Tuesday to confirm the 6pm appointment for Wednesday night. Then Wednesday no one called or showed up. I dialed that number today and it rang for several minutes with no one picking up.

I got a call Monday from Aubrey at this number. She said I had won a drawing through Hague Water Softeners. I had signed up for the drawing at the Topeka, KS Farm Show in January. She said I was a finalist in their ATV giveaway. She then went into a sales pitch on a Hague Water Softener. She confirmed my address and cell phone number which she had called. We scheduled an in-home appointment to discuss buying a softener. She said someone will be calling the next day(Tuesday) to confirm our meeting time of 6pm on Wednesday. No one called Tuesday to confirm and no one bothered to call or show up Wednesday at 6pm. Not sure what kind of operation is being run but be very cautious. Ironically, last night we got a call from some guy asking us if we have or if we want a home security system. When my wife told him her husband owns an AK-47 and keeps it very handy, the discussion was brief.

I did not get a call. But, got a slip on my door saying I have a gift and to call them to reschedule delivery. The slip did not mention any company's name. I called them and was put on hold for a long time before disconnecting the phone. In the end, I decided that it is some kind of a phoney company, if they didn't even mention their name on the door slip.
