Could they be bill collectors?

Just started connecting the call but I don't say anything. After about 1 minute it says I can't reach that number the way I have dialed. I think the automated call is voice activated so here's hoping I'm right.

I get calls from this number almost every day, sometimes twice a day

These clowns keep calling. Think they'd get the idea. Piss off already....Never leave message, call 2-3 times a week.

Phones everyday around supper time. Will not leave a message or name on answering machine or name display.

called it back and automated system said "celebrity slo pitch baseball"

So how do we remove ourselves from this list? I couldn't care less about celebrities or baseball

They are calling me 4 - 6 times a day for the past couple of weeks.

get call from 800-694-3497 several times a day almost every day, don't know who it is but darn persistent. We have a house policy not to answer any 800,888,866.877 or any unknown area code. usually a plea for money  survey etc was also told not to bother putting numbers on do not call list as it is not only useless but your troublesome calls tend to increase.Good old canadian Govt screwup

They just started calling me..why would I care about celebrity slow pitch!!!!

do these charities really think people will donate by receiving annoying phone calls?
no only do i refuse, but i make sure i know the charity - in this case a celebrity baseball - and tell everyone i know to be sure NOT to donate or help out.
And its bad for them too casue the people I know are big time charity contributers. In fact so big, a few charities will notice the difference.

Canada has no official ("Do Not Call Registry List") It was supposed to be backed solidly by the Federal Government. The program fell into disarray with discontinued funding by federal defunct yahoo politicians in Ottawa. To recap the loss of federal money that went into the program, names, addresses, and personal phone numbers along with person information was sold illegally to tele-marketing bidders.

No Canadian out there has the gumption and balls to take the Federal Government to court in a Class Action Suit over this fiasco. Do I have a reason to be raged with anger having registered myself?

Have called multiple times, refuse to leave messages. When my dad answers and asks to be put on their do not call list, they accuse him of not being who he says he is, hang up on him, and keep calling. We just called 1-800-710-7095 and an automated message says we're on their do not call list, takes a few days to process though.

Just FYI if you're Canadian and sign up for the national registry, charities and surveyors can still call you. If charities call you, you need to request to be put on their personal do not call list. A most surveys and polling are done through randomized dialing, not through a list, so there is no do not call list for those.

Received a call from them this morning
He asked for Mr. ..... - i said there was no Mr....... here so he tried to hang up
i asked who was calling - he replied "it's just kevin" then hung up in my ear

when i called the number back it said to call 1 800 710 7095 - automated voicemail Said they were raising funds for celebrity slow pitch baseball

hmmm - recently put my name on the national no call list but the 30 days hasn't kicked in yet
wonder if that is where they got my number from

they keep calling, we blocked them and then they get a another number to call from, by the way, are they claiming to be Niagara Regional (or w/e region your in) police looking for money?

Called at suppertime. Lady on the line said; "It's not always about you, ya know? Then she hung up.

This number has been calling me for the last two weeks everytime I pick up noone there, Im going to call the cs line to see if I can be removed, if not I calling my phone company to have it blocked!

I have had this number call my house several times over the last couple of weeks with no one there.  I tried to call the number back and got a recorded message about the wrong area code or something.

picked up the phone, no one replied then line went dead.

have tracked the calls - calling every evening around 7 pm. Never anyone on the line when I answer.Called 1-800-710-7095. to be put on the dncall list - let's see if it works

got a call frm this thing 3:17 today. no answer wtf

Same as above...calls right at supper every night 2-3 times, and no answer at other end.  When # is called back, it says you've reached some celebrity baseball place looking for donations out east..Ontario?  Like, WTF!!!!??? So sick of this.  Going to block this # tomorrow.

After about 25 calls, I phoned and got their customer service phone.  It slow pitch callenge looking for donations.  They said they are having problems with their automated number and put me on their do not call list.  Their customer service number is 1-800-710-7095.

They call every two days asking for Harold. Told them wrong number and to stop calling but still call.

I have had this call 3 times this week, but there is no answer.
