I've gotten several calls from this number, each one saying they're someone else,, HSBC, Capt. 1, Discover, Chase, this number is a collection agency posing as representatives from these companies.
All day and night on cell phone. Have no debt. Do not owe anyone. Kept the calls.

The man who called claimed to be from capital one. They call a lot, and rarely remain on the line. Finally today a man spoke, claimed to be from capital one, who bought my motorcycle account from HSBC, who bought it from yamaha. This is all accurate. He have me specific verifiable information about my account, none of which I confirmed or denied to him, but the information he had was correct. He asked for further information, but I did not give any. Asked if he could make a payment to the account using my bank account number, which he had, but I declined. Said I would make a payment on my own today. Made the payment online (sometimes you just forget to pay) so hopefully the call doesn't happen again. Seems legitimate, but I never trust calls like these. Phishing is real. Even though it seemed he possessed enough information to do damage or prove legitimacy, still didn't trust based on everything I've learned about this number.
called me today at 9:30am, 2:13pm, 3:43pm, and 5:10pm and that's just today!!! isn't there a limit to how many times they can call you in one day? I don't care who it is,, I don't answer calls from anywhere I don't recognize and I only call back if they leave a message!!

50 Million Called
This is the MENARDS. They call early am to late pm and even on Christmas Eve. Really Godless people. The account was paid in full but they screwed up the billing and am harassing me day and night with their phone calls. I'm going to cancel the card and change my phone number. It's not worth it.

I received 263 calls from this number, reported each one to the Do Not Call Registry who did nothing about it. The registry is a joke and should be eliminated. They were also able to get passed my Blockers callers list
They call all day as unidentified caller but don't even leave a message and say who they are. Why are they afraid to say who they are? No guts,no glory.
These people are calling me 4 times a day I want it stopped.
Calls 5-10 times a day, doesn't leave a message. When I called back, it says this is Retail Services and I need to enter my account number.
I dont think its collections because all my cards are current and the only thing I have outstanding is unpaid parking tickets.
I finally answered and a lady started by saying by saying the call may be recorded for quality assurance. I told her I dont agree to being recorded and the call is over unless she can stop recording. She said she can't do that. So I told her "I dont consent to being recorded and I'm hanging up now. If you need to communicate with me you may do so by mail." And I hung up. If they call back Im just going to keep doing that.
Just paid my $700+ best buy balance off 2 wks ago, and have had this number start calling me all day today, with no one on the other line...

This is the Best Buy Credit card collections department. I got a call from their off-shore collections department at 8:00AM on a Sunday morning and went ballistic. I called back the 800 number and I talked to a person that filed a complain about on my behalf. I contact a lawyer and she suggested I RECORD ALL CALLS FROM COLLECTIONS DEPARTMENTS or only talk to them if they agree to turn off their recorders. In the case of HSBC/Best Buy, they will not continue a call if you are recording it nor will they turn it off which makes it easy to end the conversation. I have Comcast and they also allow you to block numbers, too.
The calls start at 8:15am and go to 9:30pm every day every 40 min. every day for 3 months. Best Buy sold my paper to cpital One. My deal was 18 months interest free then then if not paid in full interest would start. OK. But in stead they took the whole 18 months and added it to the remaining total which they said when I called that was the deal it was a promotion but none of my paper work said that NONE of it, so I stopped paying. With late fees and the interest the cost of the computer it is over two times the orginal price. Even though my paper work says different, so they can kiss my a**. The calls are out of control and they can s*** my ****. A***oles
They are a credit card collector. They work for multiple companies. In my area the most likely is Best Buy. I called them back and they answered that for me based on the phone number I was calling from.

I have gotten about 100 calls from this number--to my cell.
I have not answered any of them, so can't really complain about them being anything but a pain in the neck. The cell number they have is an old phone that doesn't have the "block call" feature, so have to keep pressing, "Ignore" when they call. [also, don't know if the 100 above is real or exaggerated. The old phone also doesn't count how many calls come from certain numbers].
when you call back that number it asks for the last 4 of your social AND full account number. DO NOT enter it, this is a phishing scam for identity theft!

They have been calling my # for days!!! I finally had enough today and waited on the line until someone came on. She asked to speak to Amanda, I relied that was me, she then asked if my last name was (butchered my maiden last name) when I told her no, she was saying it wrong she said "I thought you said this was Amanda?" I replied again that I am Amanda but she was saying my last name wrong and asked her what I could help her with. She then got disturbingly rude and said she wasn't going to talk to me because she wasn't sure I was the right Amanda. I then told her to take my # off her list and told her not to call me again (I don't have any debt in my maiden name and haven't for several years) when she said "there is no list, this isn't a sales call". so I asked again what she was calling me for and she said she would call back when she was sure the right Amanda was on the phone! SERIOUSLY?!? I don't even have a HSBC account and after this if it is them I never will! Was like dealing with a bratty teenager, UGH!
Boscovs...I forgot to pay my bill because I forgot that I had purchased stuff. They called daily numerous times until I answered.
