Multipe calls from Sam Abbott and 10 others from Executive Direct Solutions left a message on my answering machine this morning telling me it was "imperative" that I return his call about my credit card debt and minimum payments that are going up. He also said I wasn't qualified for the debt allowance reduction program. I am on the Do Not Call List.

Same thing for the last 2 weeks.  I am calling our state attorney general and the local news.  Wondering if there is a connection between all of us.  Where did they get our phone numbers?  Did they buy a list or is it just random?

Yesterday the call was from "Chris Young" at 800-709-8793 and today the caller's name is "Sam Abbott" at 800-710-4895. I won't return the calls and will add this information to the complaint filed with the attorney general's office in our state!

I am getting this same exact TYPE if call, though seemingly from different parties.  They all claim to be calling about "Debt reduction" and claim that is is IMPERATIVE that I call them at a toll free number they provide.  I've called the various numbers, with limited success.  The calls seem to be going to another country, but that's based solely on the heavy accents they all have.  If you ask to be removed from their call list they hang up- period.

This started suddenly, but I get at least one call every day, all for the same type of "Service" (Debt reduction) yet all the calls came from different numbers and all asked me to call different toll-free numbers.  The killer is I have no debt.

What's going on?

I received a message form a Tom Abbott as well on MY WORK line.  He said that he recieved information from my credit card companies that I needed to reduce my debt and to call him at 1-800-710-4895.  My company DOES monitor phone calls and my BOSS inquired as to my financial 'issues.'  Fun fact is that I have no credit card debt and have had the same cards for 5 years.  I pay them off each month.  I called back and each time I said I was not interested, they hung up on me.  This is not the first time I have been contacted by this number either.

Same issue here. We don't have much credit card debt. I asked to speak to Sam Abbott and someone else "helped" me. I then asked if they knew it was illegal to call people on the N/C list, and of course they hung up on me. This happened 3 times today.

I have filed a complaint with the Commonwealth Attorney's Office in KY.

The most recent person who left a message on my machine to call the number above saying that it was 'extremely important' that i call to 'consolidate the debt on my credit cards' (i have no credit card debt) was named Sam Abbott. Before that it was Chris Young. I called repeated and said I wanted to speak with a manager or I want my number off this list, that I'm on a Do Not Call List, and was repeated hung up on.

Call regarding imperative info on debt reduction and minimum payments.  Obviously a scam since neither this is not a problem I'm having.  Also got a very similar call from "Chris Young" at 800-709-8793 immediately before this one came in.  Will try to report both to CT State AG's office.

Tried calling back and call went to a voicemail box that was full.

Call them over and over. Say nothing. Let them hang up. Don't wait any longer than 30 seconds so they do not tie you up from calling again. Eventually you'll call and they will answer that all operators are busy and you can leave your details. If you're lucky you'll get somme over and over. Really begins to piss themm off. Too bad.

They have called for the last couple of days - always very pleasant on the message - until you call them back. The fist time  called they asked if I would like to speak to an agent, I said no and they hung up when I asked to be taken off their call list. Then I called back and said that I would liek to speak to an agent, did not transfer me, it was the same person who hung up when I asked to be taken off their call list. The third time I asked for a supervisor...of course there was not one available, the guy was pleasant but when I asked to be taken off their call list they hung up. Everyone had an Indian accent, which make me believe it is being outsourced. How much of this do we have to take before the government does something!!

Same thing...I received a call offering 'debt reduction' and the name used was Sam Abbott, and advised to call (800) 710-4895.  I'm not at home, so I can't see what the Caller ID was. I called the number and got a 'voice mailbox is full' message.   I'm on every Do Not Call registry (FTC and State of CT).  I'll complain to state's attorney and FTC as well. These people are despicable.

They are also harassing us for "debt reduction" & called us from (800) 710-4895; (800) 709-8793; and (909) 842-8166.  The (909) 842-8166 number is registered to a Digitcom Services in Ontario, Canada.  They kept calling yesterday/last evening & hung up everytime we asked them to take us off their call list.  I told them I was on the Do Not Call List & I would report them if they didn't stop.  They just hung up on me.  This morning, I've complained to my local attorney general's offices, the Do Not Call Registry and the FTC.  I highly suggest people do the same, so they can go after these morons who have nothing better to do than pester and/or bilk decent people of their hard earned time & money.

Same thing but now they're using Sam Abbott as the caller.  They called from 714 607 5770 and apparently google shows lots of complaints about that number calling for satellite sales.  This was for debt reduction.

Who do we call to complain about this, if it is a Ca number I am wondering if the state of CA is the one who is in charge.

BTW the same person keeps answering male with an accent.  Got me on the wrong day and btw yes Tom Abbot also

This company called me to "reduce my debt"  I was to call back "Tom Abbott", but when I did I got someone who refused to put me in touch with the man.  My guess is it is a ficticious name.  They asked me if I had any debt to reduce.  I told them they should already have that information if they were calling me to solicit my business.  I told them that I would like to know how they got my name and number as I am on the Do Not Call list and they immediately hung up on me.

Even though they gave me an 800# to call the actual number on my caller id is 714-607-5770.
