I found the solution!  Contact Life Watch USA at the number listed in this link and you will hold for a while, you will get a human to speak to, provide the confirmation number, and they (promised) will cancel the order.

My mother got the same call today and was drawn by the $3000 in coupons as well.  I called to cancel for her and of course got a voice recording and was forced to only leave a vmail directing them to cancel and notice that all charges will be denied.  Unfortunately she gave them her BANK ACCOUNT CARD.  Sigh.  The people who prey on senior citizens will get what's coming to them (if you know what I mean).  Now I'll have to try to cancel her card.

That's how they got my mother.  I told them she has dementia, would they like to discuss how valid THAT contract will be.  As soon as they learned I was a lawyer, they hung up on me.

This is some kind of Senior Medical Alert company.  They call and tell the senior that one of their children signed them up for the service and they need their credit card number to send the equipment. Unfortunately, my mother gave them too much info.  Called them back and had a huge argument with them.  They be a legit company butt they are using fraud to get people to sign up.  They argued that they would not cancel because they had her approval recorded.  They hung up on me when they found out I was a lawyer.  Had to have mom's bank account changed!

They target the elderly, such as my mother in law who has dementia and doesn't understand. So you shouldn't be so quick to blame....you should blame those who are hurting others!

My Dad got a call sometime last week.  He did not remember the name, but told me to subtract $39.95 out of his checking acct.  I got more worried and called the bank to watch the acct.  I found this site today from 800 thankfully he wrote down.  I took my Dad to bank to open new acct   I am grateful for finding this site and saved my Dad from being scammed and all his money taken.

All scammers will say "This is not a scam" when confronted.
Telemarketers, especially those that call numbers on the "Do not call" list are among the lowest forms of life, second only to lying politicians.

These are HIGH PRESSURE sales people who trick seniors into signing up for service that they aren't aware they've signed up for. They called my mother repeatedly several times a day for several days in a row and she told them she already had a monitoring service and that they would have to talk to her daughter (me) before she could sign up for anything because I handle all her business transactions. They said Life Watch was a better service and tricked her into signing up with them by asking her questions about her account information with Life Alert (Whom she has a 3 yr contract with and is a good company)  They tricked her into giving her birthday and acct #. They gave her 24 hr to cancel. She was so confused. Thank God she told me about it the day it happened. It is very difficult to resolve anything with these people. They are manipulative, high pressure and talk circles around you. BEWARE!!!! I called 1-800-717-9295 (they have numerous #s) to cancel Life Watch and they said that my mother was the only one who could cancel even though she gave them my name to contact. When I tried to call that day, Customer service was not available. They are only available Mon-Fri 10am-6pm EST. When I did get through they just answered "Customer Service", with no company identifier until I gave them a reference  #. Be very careful with these people!

My mother also got this phone call today. They said it would be 34.95 a month and she would get 3000 in grocery coupons to use where she liked. So she gives out her debit no. and now I have to try and bail her out. All she was interested in was the 3000 in coupons.

On 8/24 my dad (89 and hard of hearing) got a "robo" call from 800-717-9295, Life Watch, out of Orlando FL, thought it was a real person and was told to press 1.  He pressed one, the woman on the other end of the line asked him for his name - he said - you called me, what is it - she gave him his name and address.  Then she took his charge card #.  I tried to call the number back a few hours later after I found out what had taken place.  I wanted to cancel.  I was advised to leave a message because all staff was talking to other senior citizens.  I looked at the caller id on my dad's phone, the number called from was 734-392-8291 (Canton MI).  I also found calls from 810-355-4014, and discovered these 2 numbers are associated with scams (see Number Guru on line).  I called the charge card co and they found the charge for $34.95 and the company is called Medical Alarm, Hewlett NY.  They put a temporary hold on his card so no one can charge anything to it.  On 8/27 I just got off the phone my the charge card billing dispute unit.  She called Medical Alarm in Hewlett NY, and put us on a 3-way call.  The man from Life Watch said "when he called us..."  I said no, your company called him.  Then he changed his wording to say it is a rental agreement and it was already cancelled.  The unit costs $400.  The charge card co staff asked who pays the $400 - he said the elderly don't pay for it, just the rental of the unit.  My charge card co staff said we'll wait 2 weeks to see if it is removed.  If not, I will call her back.  For anyone who is interested there is a call blocker out there that works.  Pull "Digitone" up on line - they are about $100 and work.  Read the reviews on Amazon but buy from the company.  Amazon only has 1 model and there are 2 different models through the company that work with different systems - U-Verse Comcast and others.

This company is fraudulent.  If you gave your charge card # - contact your charge card company to have the charge removed!!!  They charged $34.95 to my parent's card.  They promised to send him the unit, 3000 coupons and $400.  This is a scam!!!!  BEWARE!!!!!   The caller ID was from Canton MI  734-392-8291.  They advised they were out of Orlando FL.  Also have received calls from 810-355-4014 within last 10 days - that is a verified scam company for Medical Alert Systems.

If they are a legitimate telemarketer,  why do they illegally Robo call  day after day after day,  multiple times each day?    Robo calling is illegal in my state  and no business in the world has the right to continually call and call the same numbers over and over and harassing  until people are forced to push the buttons.  That's like a business going out into the street and trying to force people into their store whether they want to shop or not.  They need to be held accountable by the FTC/DNC registry laws and prosecuted.  I would never do business with them and have purchased a Digitone call blocker to get rid of them.

I called this company twice and both salespeople were very, very defensive when I asked for the name and location of the company. Both hung up on me within a minute or two. There is definitely something fishy and rotting quickly about this group.

My Dad too got the call and signed up...this # was what he was given as a customer service #.  I called the # and they are Life Watch so I then Googled Life Watch Customer Service and found a different # which I called.  Life Watch is the company selling Medical Alert systems.  I asked first if they telemarket and she said they donot so I was concerned but with only my dad's telephone # she was able to locate his order; so, I feel alittle more at ease but not totally until he received the unit.....

My mother received a call from this company telling her that a family member had referred her. None did but she believed them and gave her credit card info. I called just to get the name of the company and they would not give it to me. They target seniors and manipulate them by repeatedly saying her family wanted her to have this product. We called her credit card company to stop the charges. Hopefully, that will stop this. I still can't find the name of the company.
